About Amy Steigerwald
With over 21 years of experience in the financial services industry, Amy is an Executive Director in Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley. She focuses on building and deepening long-term client relationships, partnering with individuals and families as they navigate complex financial decisions and pursue their long-term goals. Her priority is to make clients’ lives easier through clear guidance & thoughtful planning.
Amy began her career in 2005 at BNY Mellon Wealth Management and later joined Credit Suisse Private Bank, where she first partnered with Ilan Segev. In 2012, Amy and Ilan joined Morgan Stanley, and the practice has since grown into a global team with partners in Boston, New York City, and London. The team advises ultra-high-net-worth families across the U.S., Israel, the U.K., Europe, and Asia. Working closely with clients’ external advisors and Morgan Stanley specialists, they deliver customized strategies and differentiated access to solutions tailored to each client’s priorities.
Amy earned a B.A. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University. She currently serves on the Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management Advisory Council and previously served on the Board of Directors for Invest in Girls. She has also mentored and coached women entrepreneurs through the Babson WIN Lab—reflecting her commitment to advancing women’s professional development and entrepreneurship. Originally from upstate New York, Amy lives in Boston’s South End with her husband, Michael, and their son, James.
