About Me

Mickel has been in the financial services industry since 2012 and previously worked at Merrill Lynch. He serves as the lead financial advisor for the Husted & Simonton Group at Morgan Stanley and enjoys overseeing the team’s investment strategies and working closely with clients through estate planning strategies. Mickel and the H&S are dedicated to their clients and their professionalism in the industry.

Mickel is heavily involved in community service through civic and youth organizations in Shreveport. He has previously served on the board of the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra and the Shreveport chapter of YoungLife. He is active in his church, neighborhood and his children’s school. Mickel and his wife, Emily, live in Shreveport with their three children: Tripp, Mac & Mary Alice. In his spare time, Mickel enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing golf.
