About Jason Strader
Jason A. Strader, CFP®, serves as the Vice-President, Branch Manager, and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley's Huntington, WV office. In this role, he oversees branch operations and provides experienced financial advice to clients. With over two decades of experience, Jason focuses in crafting personalized strategies designed to help families and small business owners achieve their financial goals. He is known for his analytical and performance-driven approach, focusing on comprehensive financial planning that seeks to help empower clients to make informed decisions about protecting, growing, and distributing their assets in a tax-efficient manner.
Jason's career includes roles as a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual and VP of Operations at Ashland Credit Union. Additionally, he has held positions as a Financial Analyst at Newport Group LLC, Financial Center Manager at Citizens National Bank, and Financial Services Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. His experience includes financial plan development, investment portfolio management, financial statement analysis, deposit and lending operations, and regulatory compliance.
Jason holds an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and a B.S. in Accounting and a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Kentucky. He is recognized as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® by the CFP Board and a Chartered Financial Consultant® by The American College of Financial Services. He also holds various licenses, including Series 7, 9, 10, and 66, as well as a Life & Health Insurance License.
Outside of his professional life, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Jane, and their three children, LaBryant (19), Jaylan (15), and Lisanna (9). The family loves vacationing at the beach, attending sporting events, and supporting the University of Kentucky basketball team. They also delight in the company of their two mini golden doodles, Brutus and Bubba.
