About Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson, Senior Vice President, and Market Manager for Morgan Stanley covering the Utah and Wyoming Markets. As Market Manager, Kevin oversees 5 locations, 65 Financial Advisors with over 11 billion in assets under management.

Kevin moved to Utah with this family as a child. Upon graduating from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Kevin joined Morgan Stanley Dean Witter as a Financial Advisor in 2001 at the Salt Lake Branch. In 2006 Kevin took a position at the Park City Branch as the Branch Manager. 2015 Kevin was promoted to Associate Market Manager for the Mountain States Market in Denver, Colorado. Meeting his wife Ashley while in Colorado. 2018 Kevin returned to Salt Lake City in his current role.

Kevin and his wife Ashley have two beautiful children, Josey, and Sawyer. Kevin & his family spend most weekends recreating in and around Utah. They are avid snowboarders, skiers, fly fisherman, playground enthusiasts and recently have taken up pickleball.

About Deana F. Perry

Deana started with Morgan Stanley in 2011 as a Client Service Associate, aiding Financial Advisors run their businesses and providing excellent client service. In 2018 Deana was promoted to join the Utah/Wyoming Market management team as Branch Administrator, covering six branch locations. Deana provides support to our management team, financial advisors, employees, coordinates firm initiatives, assists in executing the wealth management business smoothly and is a valuable resource for multiple aspects of our business.

Deana is an avid lover of most things outdoors, including river rafting, snow skiing, hiking, bootcamp workouts, music festivals, volunteering with elephant rescues in Thailand, travelling, cooking/entertaining. Deana has a son, two stepsons and three fur babies.

About Lisa Pollock

Lisa started her career in this industry in 1988 joining Merrill Lynch as a Client Service Associate. She worked in that position for 12 years before joining their Service Management Training Program. Lisa has spent years in the Service Manager role at Merrill Lynch, Farmers Financial Solutions and joined Morgan Stanley in 2013.

Lisa enjoys going to concerts, kayaking and bike riding. She has a daughter, two sons and a puggle, Max.

About Joseph H. Barnhurst

Joseph H Barnhurst is a Vice President, Business Service Officer with Morgan Stanley. He oversees the service side of the wealth management branches for the State of Utah. Currently including, Salt Lake City, Park City, Cottonwood Heights and Provo. He is originally from Sandy, UT and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of San Francisco. Joe joined Ameriprise Financial as a Financial Advisor in 2006, in 2008 he Joined Morgan Stanley, in 2016 he took a position at Goldman Sachs to help start Marcus by Goldman Sachs, and eventually came back to Morgan Stanley in August 2018. Joe has two daughters and lives in the greater Salt Lake City area.

About Jeremy Smith

Jeremy Smith is a Vice President and Risk Officer with Morgan Stanley. He oversees the risk supervision function for offices in Utah, Wyoming and Colorado covering Holladay UT, Park City UT, Provo UT, Casper WY, Sheridan WY and Cherry Creek CO wealth management offices. He started his career in Financial Services at Morgan Stanley owned Discover Brokerage and has spent the last 4 years at the Morgan Stanley branch in Holladay UT. Jeremy received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and is originally from Pennsylvania but has called Utah home for most of his life. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children exploring national parks, sites of interest, museums and road trips throughout the United States.
