    We begin with an informal conversation to understand your financial concerns and determine how we can add value. If we all agree to move forward, we’ll schedule our next meeting and request important financial information.

    We continue the dialogue we started, learning about the values that shape your decisions and identifying any unique circumstances around your wealth. We review the documents you prepared and begin to define your priorities and timelines.

    Upon your approval of my recommendations, we begin to implement the strategies outlines in the plan. Once assets have been transferred to Morgan Stanley and are aligned with your investment strategy, walk you through the details of your new statement and introduce all of the tools and recourses available to you.

Shawn began his career with Morgan Stanley in 2001 and has more than 20 years of working with institutional clients and high-net-worth families to address their wealth management needs. He was recognized on the Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" 2018 and 2021 list. In addition, he holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor®(CPWA®) designation, awarded by the Investment & Wealth Institute™ and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM (CRPC®) designation.

Our team works with clients to articulate the vision of their future by divulging their aspirations, needs, family dynamics, and priorities. Our commitment to understanding a vision enables us to shape the plan that provides our clients with a deeper understanding of the appropriate risk, target rate of return, and objectives to help increase the likelihood of success. Together, with the comprehensive resources provided within Morgan Stanley, our team strives to create a cohesive approach. Incorporating our clients’ advisors, including their own accountants and attorneys, assists the team in effectively executing our clients' plan.

Shawn believes that the confidence and trust created through this team process is integral in his relationships with the families for which they serve.

Shawn views ‘time’ as a valuable commodity for clients. Shawn and his wife reside in Luthervillle-Timonium, Maryland, with their three children and dog.

About Me

David joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 and has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. David has expertise in working with families of significant wealth in helping to address their wealth management needs, collaborate in addressing family dynamics, educating the next generation and delivering a boutique client service experience.

The ability to understand and address the needs of affluent families is an area that David has had direct experience in for over 40 years. David graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor's degree in finance, and he is an active volunteer within his community as a coach and within community development. He is married with five children. David is located in the Purchase, New York, office.

Rich brings over 30 years of business and entrepreneurial experience in the Financial Services Industry to his career at Morgan Stanley. Rich was the Chief Operating Officer of a large Mid-Atlantic Lender prior to opening and running his own firm for 14 years. Rich also has experience as the President/Owner of a Real Estate Investment firm. Rich joined Morgan Stanley in 2022.

As a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, Rich strives to be the best in his field by assisting families, individuals and successful business owners find their way through life's financial maze. Rich has lived in Columbia in River Hill since 1993 with his wife Lisa and his two children, Blake and Stefani. When Rich is not working, he enjoys tennis, biking and Motorcycling. Rich was also a Lacrosse Coach at River Hill High School.
