Our Client-Focused Practice

Years ago, when we made the decision to become Financial Advisors, we gave a lot of thought to the types of individuals and families we wanted to help. We asked ourselves what were our strengths and skills, and who would best be served by our experience, perspectives and values.

Over the years, we built a dynamic practice that consists of a broad range of clients:

- Highly successful individuals
- Families spanning multiple generations
- Retirees and individuals planning for retirement
- Business owners and corporate executives with concentrated wealth
- Widows and Widowers seeking guidance for themselves and their families
- Referrals from clients and industry professionals

While each client has a unique set of goals and circumstances, they collectively have one thing in common: they want to secure their financial future and pursue their personal ambitions. We help them understand their current situation and provide the clarity needed to navigate life-changing events with confidence.

These events include:

- A new job or career
- The transition to retirement
- The sale of a business
- A divorce or loss of a loved one
- Caring for an ill parent/family member
- A large inheritance

We also help clients:

- Save effectively so children can attend the colleges of their choice
- Plan for retirement
- Finance a major acquisition or strengthen a business
- Diversify highly concentrated positions
- Tax efficient investment strategies
- Transfer wealth across generations
- Create a legacy plan to help preserve family harmony as well as assets
- Achieve philanthropic goals

As you work with us, we are confident you will find the solutions we recommend are carefully coordinated to provide the knowledge and insights needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced world. We are skilled at working closely with your other wealth professionals – such as your CPA, estate and/or business attorney and insurance professionals – and can recommend qualified local professionals should you need access to one.

Our Core Values

We are committed to the following core values we believe differentiate us from other advisory teams and serve as the foundation of our practice.
    Caring Relationships
We build long standing relationships, based on trust and integrity. We do this by working with a select group of individuals, families and business leaders who value our depth of knowledge and experience in providing comprehensive solutions that go well beyond investments. The bond we form with each client is fundamental to our mission, and it is our hope that it spans generations.
    Knowledge and Experience
Our team includes a Certified Financial Planner, a Financial Planning Specialist and an Alternative Investments Director. This concentration of education and credentials is rare in one group of advisors. We use our technical and analytical skills to research, evaluate and recommend appropriate strategies to address your particular needs and goals.
    A Team Approach
The diversity of our background and experience enables us to deliver fresh ideas for today’s complex world. We believe it is important to collaborate with your accountant, attorney and other specialists to build a comprehensive and cohesive plan that encompasses all aspects of your life. We are very comfortable serving as the lead advisor, helping ensure all the professionals you’ve hired are working together – and in tandem – to address your priorities.
    Tailored Service
We recognize every client is different. Some require in-depth explanations of investment concepts, while others understand those concepts thoroughly and prefer advisors with whom they can formulate strategies. We are committed to helping you achieve your goals in a manner that aligns with your expectations of a concierge experience.

About LaShell L. Lentz

I grew up in a lower-middle class family where building wealth seemed unattainable. I was introduced to investing as a teenager and immediately realized just how much control I could have over my financial future. I knew from an early age that I wanted to become a Financial Advisor so that I could help others find their own financial independence and security. I attended Edgewood College where I majored in Business Finance and Economics and received my MBA from the University of Wisconsin. Subsequently, I have earned the highly sought-after professional designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM that allows me to bring a higher level of advice to my clients while holding me to a strict code of ethics.

I began my career in 1996 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2013 and now have more than 23 years of experience in developing comprehensive financial plans focusing on retirement and income planning strategies for affluent individuals and families. Over that time, I have guided many clients through a myriad of economic and market conditions.

Morgan Stanley’s core values of always do the right thing, put clients first, lead with exceptional ideas, commit to diversity and inclusion, and give back couldn’t be more aligned with my own. As a wife and mother of two young daughters, raising the next generation of strong young women is very important to me. I dedicate hundreds of hours working with the Girl Scouts, The Salvation Army, coaching my girls’ basketball team, and volunteering at their school. In my free time, my husband Jason and I love taking our girls downhill skiing and spending time at our Northern Wisconsin cabin, fishing and water skiing.
