About Janet Calcagno

Janet Calcagno is a Registered Client Service Associate with Morgan Stanley in Carlsbad, California. She has been with the firm in her present role since 2011. Janet started in business back in 1977 as a New Accounts Clerk at Merrill Lynch in Riverside, CA. She then accepted a position with Paine Webber as a cashier in the Riverside office in 1979. She transferred to the Palm Desert Paine Webber office a year later and was promoted to Operations Manager. After 15 years in Palm Desert she transferred to the downtown San Diego Paine Webber office where she was promoted to Administrative Manager. She had an integral part in the merging of Kidder Peabody & Paine Webber then later with UBS. She left UBS in 2006 to accept the Operations Manager position at Wachovia Securities. She then decided to step down from management and after a short break she accepted her current position working with the Financial Advisor Team of John Sundstedt & Glen Mondero. She has lived in Carlsbad, California for the last 22 years. She enjoys spending time with her 2 grown children & many friends.

About Katie Bannister

Katie Bannister is a Senior Registered Associate with Morgan Stanley in Carlsbad, California. She is licensed with her Series 7, 63 and IA.

Katie was born and raised in the small town of Holdrege, Nebraska. In 1984, she moved from the Midwest to San Diego, California where her career began in the downtown office of Smith Barney Harris Upham.

Through all the mergers & acquisitions, Katie remained with the same firm having over 39 years of experience in the financial industry.
Most recently, she shortened her commute by relocating from the San Diego Morgan Stanley Complex to the Carlsbad branch office, working with the
GenBridge Wealth Management Group.
Katie is an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan and lives in La Costa, California with her three exotic Persian cats, Cody, Wink and Wilson.
In her spare time, she enjoys golfing and giving back to her HOA community by maintaining the wildlife habitat she created there.

About Mason Bartlett

Mason Bartlett is a registered Portfolio Analyst with Morgan Stanley. He grew up in the Chicago suburbs and graduated from Illinois State University, double majoring in accounting and finance. He moved to California shortly after college to get away from winters and start a career in financial planning in Orange County. Not long after that, he began his path with E*TRADE for 6 years before transitioning to Wealth Management with Morgan Stanley. Outside of work he can be found exploring beaches, hikes, and mountains looking for the best views to spin poi to. While travelling, he enjoys camping, snowboarding and scuba diving.
