About Me

Grant is a Managing Director in the Private Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Grant worked for Merrill Lynch in the Private Banking and Investment Group office in Houston where he was nationally recognized in the Barron's Top 1000 Advisors in the United States for 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Prior to Merrill Lynch, Grant worked for ABN AMRO in San Francisco as an Investment Banker where he successfully executed approximately $5.0 Billion in debt and equity transactions for multi-national corporate clients. Grant's prior capital market experience includes Scotia Capital, JP Morgan Chase and Buena Venture Associates.

Grant received his B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and his M.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University. Grant has served on several executive and advisory boards including Texas Children’s Cancer Center, Young Life Greater Houston and St. Francis Episcopal Church.  He is married to Lee Shropshire Fortney from Fort Worth and is blessed to have two wonderful daughters.
