Our Story & Services

For us, retirement planning means more than providing our clients with investment advice. It means helping them maintain the financial independence they've worked their whole lives to achieve. It means striving to help ensure they have the means to pursue what's most important to them. And it means understanding them as people with unique goals, values and circumstances that determine the strategies we develop on their behalf.

Our consultative process begins with an in-depth discussion of your current finances and future objectives. We'll address issues you might have overlooked that can have a significant impact on your ability to retire as planned. Finally, we'll determine how we can help you adjust your investment strategy as necessary to accommodate changing conditions and meet unforeseen expenses and income demands that may arise during retirement.

About Bradley E. Home

As a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with The Forest Park Group at Morgan Stanley, Brad prides himself on seeking to provide his clients with unrivaled customer service and guidance toward helping clients achieve their financial goals. In addition to his team’s collective years of experience, Brad also attributes their success to keeping investment choices simple for their clients and to the competency of their entire staff.

Brad learned the importance of putting customers first as a young boy, working for his family’s women’s shoe business. A graduate of the University of Oregon, he was introduced to the financial industry through his father-in-law and quickly saw it matched his interest in advising and working one-on-one with clients. Brad began his career in 1983 at Merrill Lynch, where he stayed until 2001, when he left to join Smith Barney.

A lifelong Lake Oswego resident, Brad is dedicated to his community and the people who live there. He loves living in the Pacific Northwest with his wife of 42 years, Kate, and spends his free time engaging in Oregon duck sports, traveling, and visiting with his three children and four grandchildren.

About Brian Schuler

For Brian, the most enjoyable aspect of being a Certified Financial Planner and Senior Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley is the satisfaction he derives from having a positive impact on some of the most personal and critical aspects of his clients’ lives.

As a graduate of West Point and member of the U.S. Army, Brian strongly advocates planning for the best but preparing for the worst. As life rarely goes according to plan, the purpose of planning, Brian notes, is to identify goals and objectives and to develop a framework for achieving them. Establishing a framework requires considering risks, alternative paths, and identifying contingencies ahead of time. This preparation, he believes, enables better decision-making and improves outcomes when clients encounter changes.

Inspired by a financial advisor who helped him early in his Army career, Brian went on to earn a master’s degree in business administration at the University of Maryland and entered the financial services industry in 2002, working for Strand, Atkinson, Williams, & York, and joining Morgan Stanley in 2008.

Brian has been married for 29 years to his wife, Delyn, who is also a graduate of West Point and currently works as an emergency nurse at PeaceHealth Vancouver hospital. When not at work, he enjoys running, hiking, skiing and golf. With the couple’s two children, Heidi and John, grown and out of the house, their 3-year-old Cockapoo, Ranger, he says, is now in charge.
Securities Agent: CA, MO, IL, VA, OH, MS, LA, CO, AZ, WV, NM, NC, HI, CT, AR, AL, WA, NE, MI, GA, FL, VT, TN, NJ, KS, RI, NH, MT, MN, ME, WY, SD, SC, OR, OK, NV, MD, IA, DC, PA, NY, KY, IN, AK, WI, MA, ID, DE, UT, TX, ND; General Securities Representative; Investment Advisor Representative

About Jim North

James W North

As a financial advisor with the Forest Park Group at Morgan Stanley Jim enjoys engaging with his clients and seeing how his team’s advice has a positive impact across several generations of family lives. Jim has over 27 years of experience at Morgan Stanley.

Jim is an MBA graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he was President of the Graduate Business council.

Financial and Estate planning for successful families is a focus for him and his team. This objective is completed prior to them assembling an investment portfolio that best achieves their financial objectives as well as their life goals. He feels that advisors must also understand the risk tolerance of their clients before initially making recommendations on an investment portfolio so that they can best endure market volatility and unexpected events during their lifetime.

He has been married to his wife, Judy, for over 35 years. She has worked in commercial real estate development as well as successful nonprofits. For recreation he enjoys classic cars, flying, scuba diving, golf and tennis.
