About Heather Holmes
Heather is a Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor and the Resident Manager for the Farmington NM branch. Heather began her career in the financial industry in 2014, joining Morgan Stanley in 2019. She holds various licenses and registrations including the Securities license, Series 7, and Series 66. She also holds the supervisory licenses Series 9 and 10 as well as Insurance licenses for Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Contracts.
Heather grew up in Farmington NM, graduating from Farmington High School in 1998. Heather was a division 1 NCAA College softball pitcher for Syracuse University, where she earned her degree in 2002. She then went on to receive a Master’s Level degree from the University of Denver in 2003. After her time pitching for Syracuse, she was asked to join the Great Britain International Women’s Softball team, which provided her an opportunity for international travel. She was able to visit many countries and meet an array of people during her time with the team.
Although Heather left the area in 1998 to pursue higher education and to explore other cities, she and her husband Matt returned to Farmington in 2010 after the birth of their first child. They now have two children, who participate with local schools, sports, and activities. Heather and Matt are residents of the Foothills area and enjoy being involved in the community and plan to take advantage of all the amazing things it has to offer.
