Source: Barron's.com (May 2024) 2024 Barron's Top 250 Private Wealth Management Teams awarded in 2024. The teams are ranked on a variety of factors, including their size and shape, their regulatory records and credentials of their members, and the resources they have at their disposal to serve their client bases. The rankings are meant as a starting point for clients looking for an advisor—a first-pass vetting that can help investors narrow a search. Every advisor will have his or her own approach to investing, financial planning, and other services. Clients are encouraged to approach a search for an advisor the way they would a search for a doctor—interviewing multiple professionals and getting opinions from multiple third parties. Rankings are based on the opinions of Barron's and this ranking may not be representative of any one client’s experience. This ranking is not indicative of the Financial Advisor’s future performance. Approach

Discovery Process
Investing the time to learn about you and your family; your assets and liabilities and the risk exposures, enables us to formulate strategies and customize the relationship to your needs.
Formulation of Tax, Trust and Estate Strategy
Working with your tax and legal advisors, we help analyze your income and estate tax circumstances to identify and tailor planning techniques that may be used to address your objectives.
Creation of Customized Strategic Asset Allocation
Your customized asset allocation reflects risk, opportunities and taxation across multiple entities, while integrating your investing and estate plans.
Integration of Tactical Asset Allocation
Short-term adjustments seek to capitalize on temporary market distortions. Before making adjustments, we analyze the impact of taxes and trading costs on potential returns.
Implementation of a Customized Wealth Strategy
After comprehensive due diligence and analysis of expected results across multiple market scenarios, strategies are chosen from our expansive investment platform.
Ongoing Assessment
In coordination with your other advisors, we can conduct ongoing reviews and comprehensive reporting to ensure that your strategy adapts to changing financial and family needs.
The Family Wealth Group’s approach to working with Ultra High Net Worth clients is founded on a single principle: helping ensure you achieve the totality of your goals and objectives, regardless of how small or aspirational. Holistic and multi-generational wealth planning is the core of our practice.
Our initial conversations are directed to specific, quantifiable ambitions in an effort to preserve & grow current wealth, maintain & improve lifestyle and ensure that wealth is transferred to future generations & philanthropic causes in some of the most tax efficient manners. The in-depth conversations allow us to develop a comprehensive financial plan. The financial plan is a rigorous quantitative analysis of your lifestyle, incorporating taxes, future gifting to family and charity as well as income and portfolio growth on an after-tax, after fee basis. This analysis ultimately drives our decision making in the following areas: financial & estate planning strategies, tax optimization strategies, asset allocation and investment decisions. Throughout the entire relationship, we work closely with all of your professionals, including but not limited to your attorneys, accountants and other financial advisors.
Investment decisions and asset allocation, in our view, are driven by each client’s unique goals and objectives, as outlined in your financial plan. By nature, we are fundamental investors, and believe that low-cost enhanced indexing methods can potentially outperform actively managed in certain markets. Specifically, our team utilizes a customized indexing approach to owning equities & fixed income while minimizing the fees and charges paid by clients. This approach can help create a greater buffer for our ultimate goal; the potential maximization of long-term return in conjunction with subdued risk.
It is our belief that simplicity and clarity are paramount to the success of our clients. With low-cost, macro-driven asset allocation strategies, in conjunction with federal and state tax-efficient trust and estate planning strategies, we can help preserve and grow your family’s wealth for multiple generations.
