About Gretchen Marolda
Gretchen Marolda is a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor for the Family Wealth Group at Morgan Stanley. Gretchen began her career at US Trust Company (now Bank of America), and brings 26 years of industry experience to the team. Gretchen focuses on complex, ultra-high net worth families where she offers customized advice on estate planning strategies, implementation, asset allocation, and family governance and administration.
Gretchen is adept at providing next-generation advice, prioritizing the seamless transition of wealth and responsibilities across generations. As the financial quarterback for the families she supports, Gretchen collaborates closely with her clients' attorneys, accountants, family offices, and other advisers to implement and steward their financial and planning goals. Gretchen graduated from Fordham University with a BA in Media Studies, and also spent time at the American University of Paris where she studied International Business and French.
Gretchen was born and raised in Northwestern, CT, but now resides in New York City. Outside of the office, Gretchen enjoys traveling, entertaining family and friends, and working with philanthropic associations across New York. She is involved with the University Club of New York as well as being a member of the Estate Planning Council of New York.
