About Mark K Farley
Mark brings a lifetime of experience to his role as team leader and founding partner of The Falcon Point Group at Morgan Stanley. He is responsible for bringing the team together and shaping its strategic vision. He also manages investment portfolios and provides financial planning services to his many clients. Mark is proud to be a vital member of Morgan Stanley’s history and its predecessor brands for nearly 40 years. His goals-based process, which includes a commitment to ongoing education and outstanding service, earned him recognition on the Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” list in 2021 and 2022.
Growing up in a family committed to theology and ministry, Mark took a different path, combining his desire to help others with his passion for finance. He began his career in 1978 at an editorial services firm, where he covered hundreds of annual meetings and analyst meetings for Forbes 500 companies. This led to an opportunity to work at Drexel, Burnham and Lambert, an early predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley in 1983. He has been an invaluable member of the firm ever since at what Mark likes to call his “financial ministry.”
An education advocate, Mark remains committed to advanced learning for himself and his clients. A graduate of Colgate University, he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2013. Over the years, he has also achieved important certifications at Morgan Stanley, including Portfolio Management Director and Senior Investment Management Consultant. These credentials demonstrate Mark’s commitment to a world-class client experience. He draws upon his deep knowledge to provide clients with tailored advice, based on the most effective wealth management strategies for today’s complex markets.
Mark believes balance is vital to a happy life. Outside of the office, he is a voracious reader, enjoying 150 books a year on a broad array of topics from finance and history to politics and science. Born in Manhattan, Mark moved regularly as a young boy as his father was one of the top theologians in the world. Today, he lives in Stamford, CT with his wife, Dianne, who is active in a number of local nonprofits. Every Friday, you can find Mark playing a complex strategy game with the same group of friends he has played with for the past 40 years.

About John L Troisi
John is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Portfolio Management Director, and founding partner of The Falcon Point Group at Morgan Stanley. He has been providing financial advice to executives, business owners, and generational families in the New York metropolitan area and around the country for over 30 years. He is committed to helping clients successfully navigate the financial complexities they face through comprehensive financial planning and investment management. For John, professional achievement is measured in terms of client well-being and goal attainment.
John grew up in a household dedicated to helping families achieve their financial goals. His father, Larry Troisi, was a successful advisor at Morgan Stanley for more than 50 years. John was inspired to pursue a career that would combine his fascination for the markets with his inherent desire to help others. John attended New York University, where he earned his B.A. degree in Economics and English Literature in 1993. Upon graduation, he worked at PaineWebber (now UBS) before joining Smith Barney (a predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley) in 1998. John and Larry worked side-by-side for over two decades before Larry retired in 2020.
With John’s extensive investment experience, he has developed a strong understanding of economics and is well versed in the equity and fixed income markets. Over the years, he has cultivated specialized skills in equity and fixed income portfolio construction and credit risk analysis. He believes in taking a conservative approach to investing, using high-quality equities and fixed income securities to achieve a targeted rate of return commensurate with a client’s personal risk level.
A native New Yorker, John was born in Queens, grew up on Long Island, and has lived in New York City for over 30 years. He is active with various charity organizations in his community. When he is not working, John’s favorite activities include travel, learning about new cultures, and staying active. He loves to hike, bike, camp, and mountain climb. In 2017, he hiked to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal and the following year, climbed the Grand Teton in Wyoming.
