About Thomas Emerson

Jack, a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, grew up in Siler City, N.C. He graduated from Virginia Military Institute in 1985. His military service includes six years as a Marine Infantry Officer, rising to the rank of Captain. Jack joined the firm in 1990, and other than his service during the Gulf War, has been here continuously since that time. Jack and Will formed the Emerson Loveless group in 2018 to address the changing needs of all of their clients. In 2009 Jack earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation. In 2011 Jack earned the Senior Investment Management Consultant title at Morgan Stanley.

Jack’s primary team responsibilities include client investment management, risk management and client service.

A lover of the mountains, Jack resides with his wife, Pam and daughter, Amanda in Fancy Gap, VA. One of Jack’s favorite hobbies includes amateur radio, which he has been involved with for many years.

About Will Loveless

Will, a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley is a Winston Salem native. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from North Carolina State University in 2012. Will began his career in a leadership training program with Edward Jones Investments in St. Louis, which led to him successfully running his own office in Holly Springs, NC. Will joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 as a Financial Advisor, where he partnered with his father, Tom Loveless, a retired Morgan Stanley financial advisor to assist with multi-generational financial planning. Will and Tom joined Jack Emerson in 2018 to form the Emerson Loveless Group. Will earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2018 and was named to the Forbes Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors Best-In-State list for 2023 & 2024.

Will’s primary team responsibilities are client risk management, comprehensive financial planning, investment management and client service.

Will is active in the Triad community. He has a passion for helping others and volunteers with the YMCA by serving as past chair of the Board of Managers with William G White Family YMCA. Will and his wife, Lindsay have a son, William and a daughter, Collins. You can find them boating and fishing on the Carolina coast in their spare time.
