ABOUT ELIUD PARADA

Eliud A. Parada, Vice President, Financial Advisor, is a wealth management professional who works with affluent and high-net-worth individuals and families, providing comprehensive, planning-based advice designed to bring clarity and confidence to important financial decisions. He believes financial planning is about far more than investments—it's about understanding each client's unique story and helping align financial strategies with the life they want to live, whether that includes preparing for retirement, preserving wealth, or creating a lasting legacy for future generations.

Eliud's approach begins with listening. Before discussing portfolios or market strategy, he takes time to understand a client's goals, values, concerns, and family dynamics. From there, he helps develop coordinated strategies that can integrate investment management, retirement planning, risk management, tax awareness, and estate planning considerations—so each part of a client's financial life works together rather than in isolation.

With deep experience advising households on portfolio construction and financial planning, Eliud is known for combining analytical problem-solving with a strong commitment to education—simplifying complex concepts and ensuring clients understand the "why" behind each recommendation so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

Eliud's multidisciplinary background strengthens the perspective he brings to planning conversations. He earned a Master of Science in Finance with an investment concentration and is currently a Juris Doctor candidate, with coursework including Wills, Trusts & Estates and Personal Income Tax. He is also currently completing the educational requirements for the CFP® certification. While he does not provide legal or tax advice, his training helps him identify planning considerations, ask better questions, and collaborate effectively with clients' attorneys, accountants, and other trusted professionals to support coordinated wealth management. Eliud began his financial services career in 2015 and has built his practice through a steady progression of client-facing roles across banking and wealth management.

He started at Citizens Bank and advanced into increasingly complex advisory responsibilities, ultimately moving into wealth management where he now advises affluent and high-net-worth households on portfolio construction, asset allocation, and comprehensive financial planning.

Most recently, Eliud has served as a Wealth Advisor with Citizens Securities, Inc. (Citizens Wealth Management), where he managed over 200 client relationships and delivered planning-based advice that integrates retirement, tax, and estate considerations. Prior to that, he supported wealth advisors at Santander Investment Services as a Financial Consultant Associate, conducting portfolio reviews, financial needs analyses, and developing asset allocation proposals aligned with client goals and risk tolerance. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Licensed Relationship Banker at Santander Bank, partnering with investment specialists to help clients transition from banking relationships to advisory relationships as their needs became more complex.

This career path—spanning retail banking through affluent and high-net-worth advisory work—has shaped Eliud's client-first philosophy and reinforced the importance of trust, education, and long-term relationships. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, along with Massachusetts life and health insurance licenses, and he is a native Spanish speaker.

Outside the office, Eliud is a devoted husband and father. He and his wife, Stefany, are raising their two sons, Liam and Noah, and enjoy traveling together, exploring New England, and staying active with their children's sports and activities. He is also committed to lifelong learning and professional engagement, including involvement with the UMass Boston Alumni Association and participation in educational and networking events through the Boston Bar Association.

A PLANNING-FIRST APPROACH BUILT AROUND YOUR LIFE

Tab Image

Financial planning is about far more than investments. My process is designed to help you make informed decisions with clarity and confidence by aligning your financial strategy with what matters most to you—today and for future generations.

Discovery: We Start With Listening
Before we discuss investments, I take time to understand your full financial picture and what you want your wealth to accomplish. That includes:

  • Your goals, values, and priorities
  • Family dynamics and responsibilities
  • Current concerns and upcoming life events
  • Your long-term vision for retirement and legacy planning

Clarify & Organize: Define What Success Looks Like
Next, we organize the key elements of your financial life so we can make decisions in context, not in isolation. My goal is to create a structure and help you feel confident about the path forward.

Strategy & Planning: Build A Coordinated Plan
I develop personalized recommendations that integrate the major areas of wealth management into one coordinated strategy, including:

  • Investment management and portfolio construction
  • Retirement planning and income strategy
  • Risk management and insurance planning considerations
  • Tax-aware planning considerations
  • Estate planning and wealth transfer considerations

When appropriate, I also collaborate with your CPA and attorney to support a coordinated approach (while I do not provide tax or legal advice)

Implementation: Put The Plan Into Action
Once we agree on strategy, we implement it thoughtfully, building diversified portfolios and aligning accounts and recommendations to your goals and risk tolerance.

Ongoing Advise: Review, Communicate, & Adjust
Wealth management is not a one-time event. I provide proactive, personalized service through regular communication and periodic reviews, adjusting as markets change and as your life evolves.

What You Can Expect
Clients often describe me as knowledgeable, thoughtful, and committed to acting in their best interest. I believe strong communication, ongoing education, and long-term relationships are the foundation of exceptional client service-and I work to help you understand the reasoning behind every recommendation we make together.

Questions Clients Often Ask

  • Do we only talk about investments? – No. Investments may be part of the conversation, but my process starts with your goals, responsibilities, and the decisions you're facing.
  • How often will we connect? – It depends on your preferences and what's happening in your life. Many clients prefer a regular meeting cadence with additional touchpoints around major milestones.
  • What if my priorities change? – That's expected. The relationship is designed to adapt as your career, family needs, and goals evolve.
  • Can you work with my CPA or attorney? – With your permission, I can coordinate with your trusted professionals to help keep planning aligned.
  • What should I bring to our first conversation? – A general sense of what you want to accomplish and any upcoming decisions. If you have relevant documents and statements, I can let you know what may be helpful after the initial call.
