My Story and Services

Like many financial advisors, I followed in my dad's footsteps. Even better, I also followed in my mom's footsteps. So my training as an advisor began as a teenager, following along as they provided clients with genuine care and integrity. After going to work with them in 2000, I left to gain a world of knowledge outside of the firm – about startups, tech firms and how successful people need financial advice that is truly customized.

Since my return in 2007, I've delivered an enlightened perspective to generations of families who deserve a trusted advisory relationship that extends beyond money. How do I measure my success? Not only in clients' assets, but in my ability to bring clients real-world strategies and my passion to serve their best interests – regardless of the effort required on my part.

• Talking frequently with clients and serving as a reliable "first call" for any financial decision – from buying a home, to helping an adult child with a 401k left behind. It's humbling when clients open up and ask for my opinion. If I can educate and inspire a client, I feel privileged to so.

• Having competed in marathons and ultra-marathons in Arizona, the Mojave Desert, Ireland, New Zealand, Peru and counting.

• Being a highly credentialed advisor. I hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor(SM) designation through the College for Financial Planning.

I joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management with the purpose of helping clients effectively preserve, grow, and transition their wealth. I believe that every individual and family should have a clear understanding of what their portfolio contains, and how to build a diversified portfolio, and to create a risk adjusted strategy. Wealth management is a process, not a transaction. I work to help define clients' objectives, expectations, and concerns, and use them to develop a customized plan to address the various aspects of their financial life.

Nikki Ranck is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Arizona and New Mexico.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Nikki began her career in financial services in 2006, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Senior Client Service Associate at JP Morgan’s Private Bank. She also served as a Mortgage Banker and Branch Manager at JP Morgan Chase, and a Service Manager and Personal Banker at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.

Nikki lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her family. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Alex is a Vice President and Financial Planning Director serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in Arizona and New Mexico He is responsible for helping Financial Advisors with their clients’ and prospects’ financial planning needs.

Alex began his career in financial services in 2010, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. Prior to his current position, he worked as a Private Client Advisor for J.P. Morgan.

Alex graduated from Arizona State University and Tecnológico de Monterrey and holds his Certified Financial Planner™ designation. Alex lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his family. Outside of work, Alex enjoys film production, stand-up comedy, and tennis.
