My Story

Doug has over 30 years of experience providing financial guidance to individuals and families, small business owners and executives in several different industries. Doug and his team strive to develop professional and personal relationships built on integrity, trust and accountability.

After graduating from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Doug chose to work in public accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA; currently non-practicing). He then transitioned into finance and started his corporate career working as a Financial Analyst for a large chemical manufacturer. During his time as an analyst, Doug obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Villanova University. Finally, before joining Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor, Doug spent 13 years as a Finance Director for a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical firm.

Doug’s successful practice is predicated on his construction of comprehensive financial plans for his clients as well as his relentless effort to deliver exceptional customer service. He carefully listens to his clients’ goals, values, aspirations and concerns. After having these conversations with clients, Doug will work diligently and transparently to help them achieve their financial objectives. Doug goes above and beyond for his clients and wants them to know that he is there for them no matter the situation or environment.

Retirement Planning is a fundamental part of Doug’s financial practice. He starts off his planning process by identifying your financial needs; then, he creates an action plan to meet those needs and observes the progress of your plan. When constructing these retirement plans, Doug addresses your potential future costs, such as living expenses, travel expenditures and education funding.

Outside the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his 3 wonderful daughters, going to the beach and watching sports.
