My Story

Thank you for visiting my website – I hope you find this website helpful – I'd welcome the opportunity to get acquainted, hear your unique story and see how we may fit, how our team can be of help to you

I've always loved working hard and getting results for all involved - I'm assured that I'm on the right track, when I hear the feedback and appreciation from those benefiting - This is what inspires me

Perhaps it started when I became our neighborhood's morning paperboy - I loved hearing from my customers that they appreciated how reliable I was and how I always got their paper to them before they were up - When I became a CPA, Deloitte, Partner, I had many opportunities to work hard for my clients - I loved getting my client's feedback on how I contributed to their prosperity and well-being - Their feedback grounded me and enabled me to feel good about who I am and what I was accomplishing - As the CFO for several healthcare service companies, I learned much about the healthcare industry, also helpful in serving my healthcare client professionals in managing their finances

As a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley, I'm creating those same experiences here for my clients - I learn what is unique about your situation and what's important to you, figure out how our team can be of help to you and work hard, in your best interests, to get the results that you can appreciate

My client service model has these distinctive metrics: Goals-based financial planning; scheduled, periodic reviews, in person and on demand response; all documented for my client's files - I serve as a personal CFO for my clients

I am a part of a team, the Carter Westshore Group at Morgan Stanley - The talents of our team and the resources of Morgan Stanley are leveraged for your benefit

Together my wife, Linda, and I have what were once our 2 children, each now with children of their own, 4 grandchildren – I serve on the Boards of Cristo Rey Tampa High School and the AdventHealth Tampa Foundation and am a Knights of Columbus member, St Mark the Evangelist parish

Linda and I like to play golf, often together – I was an English major undergrad and still enjoy reading - Perhaps you can offer a recommendation from your reading interests

Thank you for visiting my website and I wish you continuing best for this year and way beyond

Working With You

How can I be of help to you? I'd like to hear your story, learn what's unique about your situation and what's important to you - Wealth advisory services fit best when they are personalized uniquely for you

Perhaps you're wondering how I do this - My process is simple - It starts with a goals-based financial plan, the plan puts your goals and finances in perspective - Developing the plan together also gives you a sense of the value I can create for you - The plan extends to all aspects of your family's situation - I analyze your present strategies and how aligned they are with your goals - I explain the options available and recommend the correct course of action to take - In this process, you begin to learn and experience the talents of our team (The Carter Westshore Group at Morgan Stanley) and the resources of Morgan Stanley that will be leveraged to your benefit

We focus on "What's Important to You?" - It's important to understand your family, core values, goals and dreams, as well as your concerns and fears - Understanding these often starts relatively simple and grows as our relationship with you grows - Serving as your personal CFO, I use a Personal Financial Organizer (PFO) to document our relationship - The PFO tool is invaluable for our mutual and clear understanding of what we are working on together

When we get together, our team goes through the process of analyzing, explaining and advising, and then, documenting our strategies and progress - We want to be certain that we are on the right path and getting to where you want to go

I joined this profession because I thought my background and experience, as well as my approach to client service - Listening to you, communicating openly with you, working diligently for you and in your best interests and having a distinctive client service process - are what you may be looking for in a financial advisor

I thank you for visiting my website and look forward to the opportunity to get together and see how we may fit, how our team can be of help to you
