Drawing on over 20 years of wealth management experience, David Villalobos offers advice and guidance to affluent families and individuals about retirement planning, education funding, wealth-transfer and other important life goals. Emphasizing a long-term outlook, David focuses on developing strategies to manage risk, generate sustainable income and minimize taxes in investment portfolios.

David earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Economy from Washington University in St. Louis, and went on to earn designations as a Certified Financial Planner™ and as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠.

David is a first-generation American, born on Independence Day, and grateful for the opportunities he has been given by his parents and his country. He seeks to give back to his community so that others may enjoy the same advantages. David is a member of the Board of Directors for the Midtown Educational Foundation, and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Onward Neighborhood House from 2012 to 2018. He and his family live in the western suburbs of Chicago.

A financial services industry professional for 14 years, Lauren Moore’s hard work and pleasant demeanor create an outstanding overall service experience for the team’s clients. Lauren provides an extensive range of administrative support, including onboarding, statements, credit cards, credit lines and more. She is the first point of contact for many client inquiries and integral to the servicing of our clients’ day-to-day needs.

Lauren graduated from Northwestern University, where she was an All-American swimmer, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology. She lives in Chicago, and is an avid hiker, swimmer and adventure traveler.





Our Philosophy

Although I studied with a Nobel Laureate and a former White House economic advisor at Washington University in St. Louis, I actually learned about wealth management from my parents. They are hard-working people who ran a small accounting practice out of our home in El Paso, Texas. Growing up, I watched them service hundreds of tax and accounting clients on our front porch, which they had converted into an office. I saw how they took the time to understand each client’s concerns, how they paid attention to the details, and most importantly, how they respected the trust that was placed in them.

Like most families, my clients are primarily seeking independence and increased comfort. They want assurances that they are on track to achieve their most important goals. They need an advisor who will work just as hard as they do: someone who can tell them where they stand and who can supply the insight, experience and resources to help them get where they want to go. Just as I learned growing up, that’s exactly what I try to deliver.

About Mike Manson

Mike Manson is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management and Wealth Management offices in Illinois.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Mike began his career in financial services in 2010 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2019 as an Associate Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Senior Wealth Strategist and Banking Consultant at UBS. He also was a Bank Manager at BMO Harris Bank.

Mike is a graduate of Roosevelt University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He also received a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Finance from Northwestern University.
Mike and his family reside in Glenview, Illinois. Outside of the office, Mike enjoys early morning workouts, golf, and playing 12-inch softball.

About Casey Quinn

Casey Quinn is a Vice President and Financial Planning Director serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in the Chicago Tower and Private Wealth Management. She is responsible for helping Financial Advisors with their clients’ and prospects’ financial planning needs.

Casey began her career in financial services in 2011 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2018. Prior to her current position, she worked at Ameriprise and on a Private Wealth Management team at Morgan Stanley.

Casey graduated from the Honors College at Baylor University and holds her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. Casey lives in Chicago with her husband, son, and senior rescue dog. Outside of work, Casey enjoys spending time outside, reading, and running marathons.

About Mamta Shah

Mamta Shah is the Trust Specialist based in Chicago, covering the Midwest Region. Morgan Stanley provides a full array of personal and institutional trust services to high net worth clients of the firm. Mamta’s responsibilities include educating Financial Advisors and their clients on the open architecture trust service model and helping them identify opportunities to leverage the trust partners on the platform.

Before joining Trust Services in 2010, she was the Wealth Analyst with the Chicago based Wealth Planning Center at Morgan Stanley. Mamta was responsible for providing information and education on a full range of income and estate tax topics and concerns.

Prior to joining the Planning Center team in 2006, Mamta was Vice President of an Independent Investment Advisory Firm. She worked closely with the clients of the firm on a variety of financial planning and investment advisory services.

Mamta obtained her bachelor’s degree from Babson College with a major in Finance/Entrepreneurship. Mamta is a licensed CPA and holds a CFP® designation, She has been in the financial services industry since 1999. She is Series 7, 63, 65 and life/health insurance licensed. She is a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. She lives in Chicago with her family.

About Lynn King

Lynn R. King is a Family Office Resource Generalist for the Mid-America region. She has over 15 years of experience working with families, family offices, and their attorneys, CPAs and financial advisors on issues unique to the UHNW client. Lynn started her career as an attorney in Illinois working with closely held businesses across the country on a broad range of topics, including entity structuring, estate planning, business succession and tax. She then joined New York Life Insurance as a Corporate Vice President in their Advanced Planning Group. In this role she expanded on her experience from private practice and engaged with clients on complex business and personal planning needs.
Lynn joined Morgan Stanley in September of 2020. As the Family Office Resource Generalist, Lynn provides advice and strategies to UHNW families. To that end, she assists families with the creation of family mission statements. She also educates adults and children on how to be good stewards of generational wealth. She engages with resources in philanthropy, wealth and estate planning and trust management to ensure the UHNW clients of the Firm are able to accomplish their goals.
Lynn received her undergraduate degree in Finance and Political Science from the University of Illinois- Urbana-Champaign. She attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois where she obtained her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and is licensed to practice law in Illinois. She also holds her Series 7 and 66.
