Working With Us

It’s tempting to separate life into compartments—your family, your business, your hobbies, your investments, your charitable endeavors—but these areas interact together in highly personalized ways. Your plan for your wealth should fully address all of these important elements of your life and evolve to match your priorities.

Helping you view your assets as a source of freedom is my goal. Since 2004, I have served families by creating customized, in-depth plans to help them preserve and grow their wealth. My process is built around your personal financial goals and I commit to helping you achieve your goals while avoiding unnecessary risk. You receive regular reviews of your progress as well as on-going support throughout the year.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, I introduce you to strategies that help you minimize income taxes, maintain sufficient liquidity, and help make certain you are adequately insured. Ultimately, this planning process empowers you to invest and spend your money in ways that are consistent with your values and that benefit the people and causes you care about the most.

Maintaining a balanced life is as important to me personally as it is to my clients. My family and I live in San Carlos where you can often find me barbecuing with friends, pitching baseballs to my two young sons, or riding the local mountain biking trails. I am a volunteer with Child Advocates, a non-profit that provides foster children with mentors who advocate for their needs and well-being.

I am selectively adding new clients who wish to establish a long-term advisory relationship with an experienced, independent-minded wealth management professional. If you’d like to set up an appointment, please contact me at 650-496-4240.

PROVEN PROCESS

As you achieve significant financial success, you begin to face a number of distinct challenges and complications managing your affairs. Suddenly, you face more complex investment choices and your decisions may take on greater consequences. In a world that has become increasingly complex against a backdrop of capital markets that demand greater attention than ever before, you also want to protect your interest, your family and your hard-earned resources.

The complexity surrounding many of your financially-related decisions requires thoughtful, thorough analysis. Our team’s depth and experience in analyzing complex matters serves as a critical foundation upon which you can consider alternative approaches. Our focus on solutions, not products, allows us to assess problems from different vantage points in an effort to identify effective solutions for you and your family.

Helping families consider risks carefully by outlining and quantifying them, and then comparing risks to potential returns, helps us tailor optimal approaches. Our clients are focused on priorities like capital preservation and performance, and perhaps like them, you are also concerned about the impact of inflation, debt, volatility, taxes and intergenerational transitions.

Our experienced advisors are available to provide thoughtful and thorough insight that helps you make informed decisions, whether that is assessing measures of risk in a portfolio, identifying factors that might cause a decline in value, or seeking to understand the probability that trusts you set up for heirs will meet their stated income distribution rates.
