As a sole practitioner, David is committed to providing a personalized touch when helping clients understand their unique financial standing and help them achieve their goals. David is able to deliver that confidence having been in the industry for 27 years, 9 of which have been with Morgan Stanley. David begins with educating his clients on the importance of financial planning, developing a tailored investment strategy, and adapting to each one of his client’s needs and aspirations.
David’s focus as an advisor is helping businesses and individuals plan for things like a home purchasing, education planning, and how to convert a lifetime of saving and investing into decades of consistent, reliable income during retirement. He utilizes a goals-based approach to planning where he focuses on setting and achieving specific financial goals and providing confidence through simplifying the complexities of the ever-changing investment world.
Prior to beginning his career at Morgan Stanley, David received both his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Utah State University where he attended on a full athletic scholarship as a member of the football team. After completing his collegiate education, David acquired multiple financial licenses including his Series 7, 63 and 65. He’s also completed the education, experience, and examination requirements to receive the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation.
Married to his High School sweetheart, David and his wife will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this year. She is an RN and a Clinical Diabetes Educator at the Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa. They have two sons, Zack and Jake, who are both in the EMS industry. Outside of work, David enjoys riding motorcycles, playing golf, and spending time at the family cabin in the mountains of Northern California.
