The future you envision begins with a plan. And, the first step in creating that plan is a conversation—not about your finances, but about you and the people, activities and interests that bring meaning to your life. Understanding who you are and what matters to you gives context to your financial situation and enables us to work together to define and refine your priorities. This disciplined process of personal and financial discovery helps me make informed recommendations and design a plan that is personalized to your unique goals.

If appropriate, I will also reach out to your tax and legal advisors to understand the strategies you may already have in place.

Experience

With over 28 years of experience as a wealth management professional, I have dedicated my career to helping people navigate their financial lives with confidence. Having spent the first 17 years of my career in portfolio management, I bring a deep understanding of portfolio strategy, security selection and tax implications, and can develop the necessary structure and scale to create consistency. In addition to my investment acumen, I am at ease with sophisticated wealth management, estate, trust, philanthropic and tax planning concepts, enabling me to offer my clients a comprehensive experience.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2012, I was a Regional Director of Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager at M&I Wealth Management, a part of BMO Financial Group. Earlier in my career, I served in senior portfolio management roles at Fortune 500 companies. I earned my B.A. in Spanish with a minor in finance from Franklin & Marshall College, and hold a Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 

The son of Colombian immigrants, I was born in New York and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Currently, I live in Naples, Florida, with my wife and four children. In my free time, I love spending time with my family.

About Stacey Herring

Stacey Herring is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Florida.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Stacey began her career in financial services in 1994, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Mortgage Sales Manager at SunTrust Bank and a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer for over 17 years at Fifth Third Bank. Stacey is a graduate of Florida State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and a Minor in Communications.

Stacey currently serves on the Women’s Foundation of Collier County Board of Directors, as well as Junior Achievement of SWFL’s Advisory Board. In addition, Stacey has chaired many community endeavors, serving Naples Community Hospital, PACE Center for Girls of Collier County, and Youth Haven. She is a graduate of the Naples Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Collier program, awarded Gulfshore Business Magazine’s “40 Under 40 Award”, and in 2013 was awarded the Glass Slipper Award by The Education
Foundation, Champions for Learning. In 2014, Stacey was named a Woman of Initiative by the Community Foundation of Collier County for her philanthropy,dedication, and commitment to children’s causes.
