My Story and Services

As a Financial Advisor, I specialize in guiding clients through pre- and post-retirement planning. My approach centers on understanding your unique goals and developing customized strategies to help you achieve them. I work closely with families, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals, helping them make objective, well-informed financial decisions while helping prepare for a successful retirement.

My passion for investing began at a young age. I entered the finance industry while in college and knew I could make a difference. After gaining two years of financial planning experience in Bellevue, I relocated to Yakima to further expand my career. Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, hiking, snowboarding, and playing basketball.

As part of the Latimer Norton Cohen Group at Morgan Stanley, I am proud to be part of a team that shares a commitment to delivering exceptional financial planning services. Our combined experience enhances the level of service each client receives. Mike Norton, with 19 years of investment management experience, and Mike Latimer, who brings 27 years of expertise, are both seasoned professionals. Mike Latimer, a U.S. Naval Academy graduated with a degree in Nuclear Engineering, also served as a Branch Manager at Morgan Stanley from 2002-2023. Together, we are dedicated to building lasting relationships of trust with our clients, offering personalized strategies and expert advice to guide you toward your financial goals.

About Rylan Nordquist

Rylan Nordquist is an Associate Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Washington.

Associate Private Bankers partner with Private Bankers and Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Rylan began his career in financial services in 2012, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 as an Associate Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Private Client Banker at JP Morgan Chase.

Rylan is a graduate of Le Moyne College in Syracuse New York, where he received a double Major of Bachelor Science in Finance and Management Analysis. He lives in Seattle, Washington with his wife, Emily. Outside of the office, Rylan enjoys playing music, hiking, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
