    The implementation meeting focuses on creating prospective strategies custom designed for your specific needs. Recommended changes could include logistics, tax impact, asset allocation adjustments and saving/benefit modifications.

Individuals certified by the CFP® Board have taken the extra step to demonstrate commitment and professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes demanding education, examination, experience, and ethical requirements. These four cornerstones set the foundation for the CFP® professional's ability in helping clients achieve their goals.     The CFP® professional must develop theoretical and practical financial planning knowledge by completing 2 to 3 years of comprehensive coursework at an institution of higher learning approved by the CFP® Board. Once obtaining the CFP® trademark, their education does not stop, as continued education is part of the recertification process.

    The CFP® professional must pass the 7 hour comprehensive Certification Exam, which tests abilities to apply financial planning knowledge to real-life situations. The exam covers the financial planning process, tax planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance.

    All CFP® professionals are required to complete several years of experience related to financial planning services prior to earning the right to use the CFP® trademarks.

About Daire Hogan

Dáire has worked in the financial services industry for over twenty years. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner, a Certified Investment Management Analyst designee, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the CFA Institute. Dáire received Bachelor of Arts (English and History) and Bachelor of Science (Finance) degrees from the National University of Ireland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics from Trinity College, Dublin.

Within the Crawford-Hogan-Wang Group, Dáire is responsible for helping clients formulate their investment policy, investment analysis and due diligence, portfolio management, and relationship management.

In his spare time, Dáire can often be found on the golf course, out cycling, or enjoying a game of squash. He lives with his wife, daughter, and son in Redwood City.

Evan is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charter holder and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. His areas of focus are comprehensive financial planning and investment management. Evan graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Management.

Within the Crawford-Hogan-Wang Group, Evan is responsible for relationship management, financial goal modeling and analysis, portfolio management, and business development.

Evan lives in El Granada with his wife and two children. In his free time, Evan enjoys spending time outdoors – hiking, skiing, or standing in a river or on a boat trying to dupe a fish with his flies.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Hoyin was a Licensed Relationship Banker where he helped clients with retirement planning, mortgage loans, business banking and transaction processing. Hoyin attended UC Riverside and studied Economics Administrative Studies. Hoyin is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Hoyin lives in Fremont and enjoys travel, dining, bowling, and badminton.

About Sophia Pires

Sophia joined The Crawford-Hogan-Wang Group in 2017 as a Registered Wealth Management Associate, where she is responsible for client service and operations management. She is a Registered Representative and holds her Series 7, Series 66 and CA insurance licenses.

Sophia brings over 20 years of banking and finance industry experience to the Crawford-Hogan-Wang Group. Previously, she was a Wealth Management Private Banker for Wells Fargo's Private Bank in Palo Alto, California. As a private banker, she assisted high-net-worth clients with a wide range of banking, lending, and cash management services. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from San Diego State University.

When she's not in the office, she can be found volunteering, spending time with her family and leading an active lifestyle. In 2023, Sophia became an active member of the Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) San Mateo chapter along with her teenage son. YMSL is a non-profit national organization committed to assisting, serving and supporting those who are in need in the community while developing leadership skills among its members and promoting mother-son relationships.

About Serena Truong

Jennifer joined The Crawford-Hogan-Wang Group in 2019 as a Client Service Associate, where she is responsible for client service and operational support.

Jennifer earned her degree in political science and minor in economics and Asian American studies from UC Irvine. Before joining Morgan Stanley, she worked as an administrative assistant at Registered Investment Advisor firm Pantheon Wealth Planning.

Jennifer's strong sense of curiosity and urge to continually broaden her global perspective drive her interests to meet new people, travel and immerse herself in different cultures. She recharges spending quality time with others, meditating and solving puzzles.
