Welcome

Cynthia Lachnicht is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor in Morgan Stanley’s Paramus, New Jersey, office. With more than 38 years of experience in financial services, she has firmly established a solid reputation for helping investors achieve their long-term goals with patient confidence in all market and economic environments.

Known for her integrity and professionalism, Cynthia has spent almost three decades at Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firm Dean Witter. She began her career in financial services in the mid-1980s working in banking and selling insurance products such as annuities and long-term care insurance, giving her a deep and well-rounded understanding of the financial world.

A main reason Cynthia’s clients are so comfortable with her is because she takes the time to get to know them in great depth and educates them about their investments and her carefully designed strategies for their financial plan in a language they can easily understand.

Moreover, she always makes herself available to answer any questions they have. “During the market downdraft in the first half of 2022,” she says, “I rarely received phone calls from concerned clients because they know their portfolios are structured to weather market volatility and fully understand how their investments are supposed to work over time.”

While Cynthia has the breadth of experience to ably serve any type of investor, she primarily works with high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Over the years, she has found herself working with realtors, teachers and a large number of women investors.

Her greatest fulfillment in her career has come from getting clients to a comfortable financial place and gradually building wealth they can pass onto the next generation.

An overachiever, Cynthia holds two bachelor degrees, in Business Administration and Marketing, from Bloomfield College, both of which she earned at night in the 1980s while she worked full-time by day. When she isn’t serving her clients, she enjoys spending time with family and her two adorable Shih Tzus.
