My Story

Christine Scimeca’s passion for helping improve the futures of others, combined with over 30 years of industry experience along with more than 25 years at Morgan Stanley, serves her well as a financial advisor. With a diverse clientele of individuals preparing for or in retirement, she utilizes a disciplined approach to planning which begins by listening to fully understand each client’s situation and desired outcomes. As a result, she delivers customized plans to clients that are reflections of their goals, aspirations and values. She designs strategies to help create wealth, derive income during retirement or preserve and pass a legacy to the next generation. Christine seeks to design a plan with the right balance of risk and return for her clients. Christine is particularly empathetic to the challenges faced by those going through a life change, such as the loss of a spouse, divorce or career change. Often, these individuals may feel vulnerable and need the support of a professional to help them make important financial decisions. Christine’s disciplined planning process helps them gain the confidence they need to manage their financial affairs.

An outgoing person with a sense of humor, Christine enjoys meeting new people and learning about their life experiences. When she is not working, she likes to spend time reading, working in her garden, sewing and knitting, baking and taking care of home projects. She enjoys sports and is a fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Christine actively volunteers her time to organizations that contribute to her local community. She has served on the board of directors for the Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce, the Ozaukee County 4-H Foundation, Riveredge Nature Center and the Ozaukee County Agricultural Society.

Asset Allocation and Portfolio Planning

I will work with you using a process that focuses on you and your goals, integrating investment decisions with your immediate financial needs and desired aspirations. This process encompasses four steps:
    Icon Image
    1 Personal Review
Before I can advise you, I must understand you and your goals. I will guide you through an extensive discovery process to identify your objectives, time horizon, tolerance for risk and other considerations that may play a role in shaping your investment strategy.
    Icon Image
2 Asset Allocation and Portfolio Planning
Your input drives the development of a personalized financial strategy. Designed to help you meet your specific needs, it addresses areas such as retirement, education expenses, and tax minimization potential. When my analysis is complete, I will present to you an investment strategy that helps to identify appropriate diversification for your portfolio.
    Icon Image
    3 Implementation
After I have discussed and refined your strategy, I will work closely with you to bring the elements to life. Should we decide that outside money managers are appropriate for you, I will help you select from the hundreds of investment management firms available to you. If you prefer to invest in individual securities, I can help identify specific stocks, bonds and other securities that may be suitable for your portfolio.

    4 Ongoing Communications and Reporting
I view ongoing communication as the foundation of our successful collaboration with you. I will make every effort to keep abreast of your changing financial needs and provide viable strategies to help you meet them. This means reviewing your portfolio together on a regular basis. When your circumstances change, I will work with you to revise your strategy and reposition your assets to reflect your new needs and goals.

1Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
