What Are Alternative Investments?

Alternative Investments are financial assets that fall outside the traditional categories of stocks, bonds, and cash. They are considered alternative because they do not fit the conventional investment types and often have a low correlation with traditional markets. Alternative investments can provide diversification and potentially higher returns, but they also typically come with high risks and less liquidity.
