Charlie is a Financial Advisor, First Vice President and Portfolio Management Director with The Coral Ridge Group at Morgan Stanley. Charlie has had an impressive career spanning over three decades. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from St Mary’s College in Winona, Minnesota in 1980.
Charlie grew up in Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota, and currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After completing his college education, he started his career at Thompson McKinnon Securities, where he worked for eight years until 1988. He then moved on to Prudential Securities, where he worked for 15 years before joining Wachovia Securities, where he worked for six years until 2009 when he joined Morgan Stanley.
Charlie is a proud father of four children and has five grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys practicing the art of bonsai and has been a dedicated bonsai artist for over 25 years. Charlie also loves spending time in nature, particularly houseboating in the wilderness.
Throughout his career, Charlie has demonstrated a deep commitment to his clients and their financial well-being. He has extensive experience in the financial industry and takes great pride in serving as a trusted and reliable advisor.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a Commercial Banker at SunTrust Bank (now Truist Bank) and Bank United. He also also served as a Finance Manager at Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services.
John is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his family. Outside of the office, John enjoys coaching and watching his sons excel in sports, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on all South Florida sports team.
