    About Me

Chris developed his interest in finance while taking and investment class at Oak Park River Forest High School.  As his passion for investing grew, his Dean Witter Reynolds Financial Advisor befriended and hired him upon graduation from Texas Christian University.

His career with Morgan Stanley and predecessor firms (including Dean Witter) spans over 30 years.  Chris has also served as a former Assistant Branch Manager for the Oakbrook office as well as the branch insurance and annuity coordinator.

He currently holds the title of First Vice President, Wealth Advisor.  Within the team, he is active in the design of the portfolio management accounts, team strategy and review of insurance based investments.

As the markets and financial management became more complex, he sought to add value to client relationships by integrating additional educational and certification programs.  He was awarded the industry-recognized CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation in 1993.

Beyond his work at Morgan Stanley, having taught investment classes to adults at both the College of DuPage and Elgin Community College has helped facilitate a better understanding and learning process for the team's clients.

He is married to a Registered Nurse and has three children.  Chris has served as a Secretary for the Board of Commissioners for the Tri-State Fire Protection District in Darien, Illinois.   Volunteering and community service has been an important part of his life.  He has taken on leadership roles in the Cass District 63 Foundation for Educational Excellence, YMCA Adventure Guides Program and Darien Youth Club.  He also volunteers for the Northern Illinois Food Bank, Feed My Starving Children and the Epsilon Beta Educational Fund (benefiting the Delta Tau Delta chapter at TCU).
