My Story and Services

Carlos began his career in finance in 1994 after graduating with a B.S. from the University of Miami. He worked in the insurance industry in both Europe and the U.S. before earning his M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management. After Graduation, Carlos worked in the Private Wealth Management Group at Goldman Sachs before moving to Morgan Stanley where he held multiple roles including the Miami Complex Manager and the Director of International Accounts at their New York headquarters. By leveraging his diverse experiences and obtaining the Certified Financial Planner designation, Carlos brings a deep knowledge of risk management, financial planning and international business to the clients of the Lowell Group.

Carlos is very committed to the South Florida community. He is involved as an alumnus at the University of Miami where he studied mechanical engineering and economics. Carlos has served as a Vice President on the Alumni Association Board and currently serves on the President’s Advisory Council and serves the Miami Canes Community as their immediate past president. Carlos is also actively involved with Baptist Health South Florida. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Baptist Health South Florida, on the operating board of the Baptist Health South Miami Hospital as well as the system-wide Investment and Risk and Finance Committees. Carlos is an avid runner with multiple full and half marathons to his credit, a recent golfer and a baseball fan. He resides in Windermere, Florida with his wife, Vicky, his college sweetheart, and their two beautiful daughters, Madison and Grace.

Meet My Team

About Victoria "Vicky" Lowell

Vicky began her career in finance in 2012 working at UBS as a Client Service Associate. In 2017, she transitioned to the role of Financial Advisor and later that year, earned her designation as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), enhancing her knowledge of the immediate and long-term financial implications of divorce.

In 2018, she founded her own company, Empowered Worth, focused on empowering women through financial education. Additionally, she wrote the international best selling book, Empower Your Worth – A Woman’s Guide to Increasing Self-Worth & Net Worth.

In 2023, she rejoined the Lowell Group as a Client Service Associate. Vicky worked with the S.O.S. Organization at MIT, the Junior League of Greenwich and the Baptist Health South Florida Foundation. Endeavors like these fostered her desire to help empower women in her community to better their lives through financial independence and knowledge.
