    Step 1: Setting Your Financial Objectives
    We'll begin our relationship by asking questions – a lot of questions. Like what you want to do with your life, the things you want to have, and whether you'd like to pass any of your wealth to others. We'll ask about your current financial resources, your time horizon for various goals, your investment objectives, your tolerance for risk – even how your liabilities are structured. If you're a business owner, we also might discuss your current banking and cash-management needs.

    Step 2: Developing Your Wealth Management Strategy
    Based on your input, our recommendations will likely address income and retirement planning, asset preservation, investment management, strategic borrowing, wealth transfer and business succession. Of course, your plan will include an asset allocation* strategy designed to achieve a return in line with your risk tolerance and investment time horizon.

    Step 3: Implementing Your Plan
    After presenting you with a detailed strategy for your portfolio, we work closely with you to bring the elements to life. Should we decide that outside money managers are appropriate for you, we will rely on our research to select from the hundreds of investment-management firms competing for your business. Or perhaps you'd prefer individual securities; if so, we can identnify specific stocks, bonds and other securities that would be suitable for your portfolio. Whatever approach we decide on, we will help keep your portfolio on track.

      About Me

      As a licensed investment professional, for more than 33 years, Bob has found his talent in helping serve the investment needs of high net worth clients and is well qualified to assess their financial situations and implement appropriate portfolio strategies. Bob is firmly committed to a long-term relationship and strives to deliver exceptional service. He listens to client's goals, values, aspirations, and concerns. Based on this input, Bob then works attentively to help them achieve their financial objectives. His emphasis is on retirement planning and overall wealth building.

      Bob graduated from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia earning both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science Degrees. He has continued to expand his financial service knowledge by regularly attending advanced training programs including the Morgan Stanley* Senior Financial Advisor Program given at the prestigious Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, as well as the Morgan Stanley* Wealth Advisor Program given at the company headquarters in New York City.

      Bob's past-time activities include golf, music, boating, and dog agility. Bob and his wife Kit, reside in Richmond, Virginia and have four adult children, six grandchildren and two dogs.

      About Me

      Anne is a Senior Registered Associate and began her career with the predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley* in 1985. After spending five years in our Roanoke, Virginia office as Operations Manager, she returned to Richmond to help Bob and Joe build their team. Anne's multifaceted duties include assuring a high level of quality client service and coordinating the team's overall day to day operation. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia where she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree. Anne's extensive knowledge permits her to provide personal comprehensive assistance and she welcomes the opportunity to serve our clients and their families.

      Anne and her husband, Mike, live in Quinton, Virginia with their four dogs. She is the mother of an adult daughter and has two grandchildren as well. When not working, Anne enjoys scrapbooking, quilting, music and jewelry making.
