Upon your approval, we open new accounts for you at Morgan Stanley and initiate our investment recommendations. We’ll also begin to implement other strategies we’ve discussed. Meet Burie Group

About Robert A Burie

Robert is a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with the Burie Group at Morgan Stanley. In his role, Robert focuses on a tactical approach to wealth accumulation, retirement planning including income supplements with tax considerations, education savings, and family wealth transition.

Robert is a native of Boca Raton. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration. He then promptly moved to Jacksonville where he began his financial services career with Fidelity Investments as a client service specialist. In 2015, Robert returned to Boca and joined Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor Associate. He currently lives in Boca Raton with his wife Alexa, son Reece and their dog Jax. He has a love for the outdoors and spends his free time boating, playing sports with friends, or participating in the occasional local art class.

About Gregory John Burie

As a Senior Portfolio Management Director, Greg focuses on developing asset allocation and investment strategies for high net worth individuals, families, and institutions. Through a process of understanding a client’s complex financial needs, time horizon, risk tolerance and tax considerations, he constructs, integrates and tactically rebalances multiple portfolio strategies. As an Alternative Investments Director, Greg allocates capital for accredited investors across multiple alternative platforms, including Private Equity, Global Macro, Private Credit and Real Estate.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Greg was a Private Wealth Advisor at Ameriprise Financial Services for about 30 years. Greg has attained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, and is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association. He graduated from Millersville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Greg and his wife Carolyn have 3 children, including his son Robert, who is his partner. He enjoys travel, golf, boating and hiking. He is and has been active in multiple charities and non-for-profit as board member, lecturer and donor.
