My Story and Services

The Trang Family lost everything from the Vietnam War. In 1979, among the millions of "Boat People" after the war, our family was one of the fortunate few sponsored by a church to the United States from a Malaysian refugee camp. Once in Casper, Wyoming, without knowing a word of English, the Trang’s, thereafter, started a Chinese restaurant for self-reliance. We are humbled and are filled with gratitude to be in the greatest country in the world.

Words such as diligence, perseverance, studiousness were ingrained in my as a child, and still today, holds true as an adult. My educational success was owed to my AP English teacher as well as my steadfast determination to become a successful professional. Graduated with honors, I was awarded The Presidential Scholarship to the University of Wyoming. Since graduation in 1994, I have spent countless hours reading innumerable books and research reports while diligently honing my skills to become a well-respected financial advisor in the community. For me, learning is a lifetime process and diligent effort is essential to success.

In honor of my AP English teacher, I have dedicated my career to helping anyone who seeks my advice. She played a role in my life and in my personal career fulfillment. In return, my objective is to partner with those I serve, not only as their trusted adviser for important financial decisions, but also to garner life-long friendships.

Retirement planning is more than designing, implementing, and monitoring investment strategies. It must include reviewing and adjusting for estate and tax law changes as well as understanding intended and unintended consequences to ensure financial stability. Each family has unique goals, values, and circumstances. By understanding the full particulars of each family's dynamics, then and only then, will a sound financial plan can be established, capable of sustaining through various economic environments.

My consultation process begins with an in-depth discussion of current financial assets and ascertain future objectives. Financial planning discussions include examining tax returns, Trust/Will, insurance contracts and outstanding liabilities. After a thorough analysis, recommendations as well as relevant perspectives will be presented for implementation. Thereafter, effectuated strategies will be periodically reviewed to adjust and adapt for changing family needs and economic changes.
