Kevin Brown
Kevin and Melanie dedicate time and resources to supporting the local non-verbal community through Spellers Communication, reflecting their priority to help individuals with autism find a voice. They also volunteer with and support animal rescue organizations; as owners of multiple setters, they are currently involved with Gordon Setter Rescue. In addition, they actively support their church’s community outreach, including volunteering at the local women’s shelter.
Eric Burrus
Eric serves on the Finance Council for the Church of the Magdalen. He is a former board member for Support for Catholic Schools (SCS), a scholarship-granting organization for the Catholic Diocese of Wichita that facilitates $3.4 million in annual scholarships for at-risk students. Alongside his wife, he actively volunteers within their parish and supports youth development through the Wichita Swim Club, a member-run non-profit dedicated to competitive swimming.

About Kevin W Brown

Kevin joined Salomon Smith Barney, a predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in 1997.  A year later, he partnered with Bob Cunningham to help form The Cunningham Brown Group.    As a Financial Advisor, he provides wealth management and retirement planning services, taking a comprehensive approach to develop and implement investment, liability, and risk management strategies to help clients build and preserve wealth that can be passed on to future generations.

Since joining the firm, he has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation after meeting specific ethical requirements and successfully completing a rigorous examination administered by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Kevin has also earned the title of Morgan Stanley Portfolio Management Director, placing him among a select group of Financial Advisors who are qualified by the firm—based on training, experience and commitment—to independently manage client assets.

Prior to his career as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, he was a Financial Analyst at Fourth Financial, a bank holding company in Wichita Kansas.

Kevin graduated at Wichita State University with a degree in Finance and a minor in Economics.  He invests personal time into his community volunteering at St Anthony Family Shelter, local animal shelters, and with various fundraisers to help raise autism awareness. Eric graduated from Rockhurst College with a degree in Accounting as well as a MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Rockhurst University.  He enjoys traveling, playing golf and spending time with his wife, Tracy, and their three kids.
