Brian Asher is a Vice President and Financial Advisor with 33 years of experience. Born and raised in San Francisco, Brian later went on to receive both a bachelors and master’s degree in Economics at UC Santa Cruz.  In 1984, he started building his business as a Financial Advisor at Shearson Lehman American Express. His passion for helping his clients understand their goals, and how to best achieve them has become one of his greatest achievements. Ultimately, he believes in education, empowerment and transparency in his interactions with investors.  By 1991, he took his skills and leveraged them into a management role where he became a Producing Manager with Smith Barney. As a manager, in addition to growing his client practice, he further developed his passions for leadership, ethics and collaborative communication. After 7 years as a manager, and the merger between Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney, Brian decided to focus solely on being a financial advisor and managing his clientele. Today, Brian lives in Seal Beach. He has two children. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. His primary professional passion is serving as both a coach and mentor for clients and new financial advisors. He believes in giving advice and helping people in a way that is easy to understand. He gains great satisfaction when clients express happiness after achieving their financial goals. Last but not least, Brian is certain that what it takes to be a successful financial advisor is hard-work, excellent communication skills, and dogged persistence in the pursuit of helping his clients achieve their financial dreams.

    • Calvin Dinsdale
      Calvin Dinsdale graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Personal Financial Planning in 2012.

      A native of Michigan, Calvin started his career working at State Farm Insurance, where he was in charge of sales for property & casualty and life insurance. He worked with clients on a routine basis, analyzing their financial and insurance needs. 

      Calvin joined Morgan Stanley in 2013. As a financial advisor, his practice focuses on helping clients preserve and grow their wealth.  He draws on his own insight as well as Morgan Stanley’s global research and experienced financial specialists to create a personalized wealth management strategy for a successful financial future.

      Calvin currently has his FINRA Series 7 Series 66 along with his Life, Health and Variable Annuity License, NMLS NOW 


      In his free time, Calvin enjoys skiing, playing basketball and traveling.

      Holly works with our clients on the day-to-day servicing of their accounts; she handles administrative and operational tasks for the team.  

      She has been in the financial services industry for more than 20 years, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2007. In her career, she has held a variety of management, operations and client service roles.

      Holly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising from California State University Long Beach.

      She and her husband are active with St. Joseph Church of Long Beach. They are proud parents of two children, and enjoy relaxing on the beach with family and friends.
