Brett's Bio

Brett Ciarelli was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Cherry Hill, NJ. He was introduced to financial planning at an early age while interning at his father's independent financial advising firm during high school. Brett took his love of finance to Washington D.C. where he earned a B.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business. While at GW, Brett was accepted into the University Honors Program and furthered his education by studying International Business at La Scuola Lorenzo De' Medici in Florence, Italy.

Upon graduating Magna Cum Laude, Brett applied for and was accepted into Morgan Stanley's Professional Foundations Training Program. After completing the three year program and receiving in 2008 Morgan Stanley's Pace Setters award, Brett continued to learn and grow, becoming a Senior Vice President, an Executive Financial Services Director, and a Portfolio Management Director.
Brett currently lives in Center City, Philadelphia with his wife, Jackie, their son, Dillon, and their French Bulldogs, Oscar & Penny. In his free time, Brett enjoys yoga, running, hiking, and traveling.

Working With You

Brett has developed a distinctive wealth planning practice by delivering and implementing ongoing, objective advice tailored to his clients' unique needs.  His primary focus is on long-term financial planning and Brett accomplishes this for his clients by building them a financial blueprint with the emphasis placed on the long-term planning process rather than on the short-term rate of return on investments.

Brett recognizes that life constantly changes.  As a result, strategies must evolve and proactive advice must be given.  By developing close relationships, having open dialogue, and educating his clients, Brett is able to help guide them through the ever changing political, social, and economic landscape.  Depending upon where a client is in their life cycle, Brett can assist with the accumulation, preservation, or transition of their wealth.

Building multigenerational relationships over time with a Financial Advisor requires establishing trust with the client and always putting the clients’ needs first.  Honesty, transparency, and superior client service are the staples of Brett’s practice.  Brett realizes time is of a premium to his busy clients.  Brett coordinates with his clients’ other advisors, including their tax advisors and attorneys, to help ensure their entire financial picture is being addressed and streamlined in a collaborative approach.

Brett’s practice serves corporate executives, high net-worth individuals, retirees, entrepreneurs, and closely-held business owners.  He has demonstrated professional knowledge of financial planning, estate planning, retirement planning, charitable giving, hedging or monetizing concentrated, control, and/or restricted securities positions, lending, as well as utilizing alternative investments.
