Meet My Team

About Shannon L. Allen

Shannon Allen joined Team Hudgens in May 2022 eager to embrace a new industry. She is a first generation college graduate, determined to break the cycle and change the trajectory of future generations. Shannon earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith , majoring in Organizational Leadership with a Marketing emphasis. Her career background is primarily in healthcare as an administrative professional with over 16 years of experience in a broad range of disciplines. In the last two years she developed a sincere interest in this industry and began taking actionable steps to position herself for this opportunity.

Shannon is a Hot Springs native, graduating high-school from Christian Ministries Academy where her two children (Gideon and Scarlett) now attend. Just out of high-school she obtained and maintains her license in cosmetology. They are active members of Christian Ministries Church. She has volunteered serving meals for Hettie Lou Brooks Women’s Seminars for nearly three decades, participating in fund raisers for Our Promise Cancer Resources, and raising funds for a new school playground in memory of her late twin sister(also a CMA alum with two daughters enrolled there).

Shannon is a fan of laughter who enjoys cuddling with her dog Tucker, watching any sport her son plays, and being outdoors - hiking, running 5Ks with her kids, 4-wheeler adventures, or sitting around a campfire with friends & family. She is driven by an innate desire to be challenged and expand her skillset - adding value in this arena while working towards becoming a registered representative and serving our team/community, while advancing the mission of Henry Sturgis Morgan to provide “…only first class business… in a first class way ”.

8Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
