About Cheryl Vozzella
Cheryl Vozzella is a Managing Director and Market Manager at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. With over 25 years of experience in financial services, Cheryl joined Morgan Stanley in 2020 and is a proud member of the leadership team located at 125 High Street in Boston. Previously, she worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as the Associate Market Executive for Merrill Lynch in Boston. Cheryl’s passion begins and ends with helping clients achieve their financial goals and objectives at Morgan Stanley. As branch leader, her primary focus is to collaborate with Financial Advisors and support professionals in ways that support the growth, retention, operational effectiveness and ultimately, the evolutionary needs of their wealth management practices. She does this by fostering an inclusive culture that promotes peer to peer idea exchanges, team building, and connecting teams to the global resources available to clients offered at our world class firm. As a female leader in financial services, Cheryl believes there is both a moral obligation and enormous business benefit to building a diverse and inclusive corporate culture. Because of these beliefs, Vozzella has an intentional approach to recruiting and mentoring the next generation of diverse talent, with a specific focus on making Morgan Stanley the employer of choice for female advisors across the industry.
Cheryl is actively involved in volunteer networks within the community and she has a particular interest in supporting organizations that promote the life long benefits of teaching how financial literacy leads to financial independence and a “better return on life” for women and girls in underserved communities. Cheryl is honored to serve on several local leadership councils namely, Morgan Stanley’s Women in Wealth Chapter leading Business Development, The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Public Policy & Government Affairs Leadership Council, The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Leadership Council, Suffolk University’s Employer Development Council and D’Amore-McKim School Of Business for Northeastern University’s Career Development Center. Additionally, Cheryl's deep family military roots, and LGBTQ friendships have significant influence in her life. She lends consistent support to various Military and Pride initiatives across New England.
Cheryl is a life long resident of Massachusetts and lives north of Boston with her 3 children. “Without hesitation, my greatest accomplishment is raising my 3 kids as a single mother. They inspire me to be better person, they keep me youthful, motivate me to stay intellectually curious and when all else fails, they remind me to keep my sense of humor.”
