Our Team at Morgan Stanley Boston Market

About Jeff Swartz

I have spent my entire career at Morgan Stanley. Today, I lead the New England Region of Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management.

I believe leadership is about finding top-tier talent, supporting them when they need it, giving them the tools and opportunities to improve their skills and performance, then create a healthy environment for them to succeed. As a former producer myself, I believe I have a unique perspective on how we can support our advisors.

Leadership at this level is also about advocacy – being the advocate for my team, either internally or with clients, is one way I can help them succeed.

Just as important, I believe we are a business of people. Our ability to build strong relationships is a fundamental tenet of our success. I genuinely care about our people, both advisors and clients, and do everything I can to promote a culture of respect, teamwork and mutual success.

We are also in a risk business. One way to mitigate that risk is by hiring talented, high quality people. We are always on the lookout for high-level advisors to join our group, who want to grow and value the Morgan Stanley brand.

6The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of sustainable investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because sustainability criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
