How We Work With Our Wealth Management Clients

As Certified Financial Planners our group focuses on providing comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services to a select group of clients based in both New England and across the country.   We take a holistic approach to our planning process by incorporating all aspects of your financial life to truly understand the best way to make your assets work for you.

Our four step wealth management process begins with a detailed discussion of your overall financial picture, including your current and future financial goals and objectives.  We focus on what is important to you; achieving a comfortable retirement lifestyle, planning for your children’s college education, ensuring that your estate plan is in line with your goals, providing for your significant other in the event of death, disability or long term care needs, managing the liability side of your balance sheet, or reviewing your current investments and recommending an appropriate asset allocation.  We believe that this conversation is the foundation for understanding our clients’ desires and developing a plan that is tailored to their needs.

Taking our initial conversation into consideration, we will work with you to develop a written plan that is designed to help meet your short and long term financial goals.  We will provide you with specific investment and planning recommendations to demonstrate the value we can add to your situation.

On a regular basis we will work with you to review your investment performance and make necessary adjustments to your financial plan.  We recognize that your life is a moving picture and that your financial plan should be revisited to reflect any changes that may occur.

Financial Planning

As Certified Financial Planners we believe that everybody has a financial plan, either by design or by default. We work with our clients to develop a comprehensive plan by design that is disciplined and covers all aspects of their financial life. Whether you are a business owner, retiree, or corporate executive, our team will take the time to understand your unique situation and customize a plan that complements your life.

Our interactive financial planning tools allow us to work with you in person or remotely to review and update your plan. Planning to retire soon? Contemplating purchasing a new home? Evaluating the sale of your business? We will work with you to model the effects of your decisions and help determine the best course of action for your financial future.

Retirement Plan Consulting

The Bonheur Scott Traino group also focuses on consulting with businesses and institutions for their employer-sponsored retirement plan needs. Whether you are evaluating alternative service providers or trying to take your existing plan and simply make it better, we assist you in assessing, analyzing and addressing the specific needs of your plan to help maximize its value to your employees and organization.

We consult for over 90 different retirement plan clients where there are typically 6 key areas of focus:

1. Help in improving participation rates & preparing employees for retirement
2. Ongoing support in understanding, managing and in many cases shifting fiduciary responsibility
3. Knowledge and experience in selecting and ongoing monitoring of plan investments
4. Guidance in evaluating and choosing a record keeper/provider
5. Help in understanding plan fees and expenses
6. Help in analyzing and maximizing plan design

For most of our clients, the 401k plan is only 1 of the many day to day responsibilities they have in their HR and Finance functions. With the ever changing retirement plan landscape, our goal is simplify and tighten up this part of your business.
The Bonheur Scott Traino Group focuses on working with executives of public, private, and venture backed companies. We understand the demands of running a company often don’t leave time for you to ponder your personal balance sheet and the complexities that wealth can bring.

Our clients often have unique challenges such as hedging and diversifying concentrated positions of company stock, determining the best time to exercise stock options, making elections around restricted stock grants, efficiently transferring wealth to the next generation, and fulfilling charitable inclinations.

We simplify our executive clients’ lives by focusing on their financial situation to allow them to do what they do best: run their business.
