My Story and Services

Bobby Beier is a Financial Advisor with the Prairie View Group at Morgan Stanley. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in Agricultural Business, an MBA from Texas Tech University, and Certificate in Financial Planning from Southern Methodist University. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Bobby spent 8 years at Fidelity Investments in their Institutional Wealth Management Services group consulting with Financial Advisors on capital markets, portfolio construction, and platform solutions to help strengthen their offering to individual investors. This experience offered him an inside look at how successful advisors meet the needs of affluent families and individuals, and he now utilizes those insights to develop his own unique wealth management process.

As a second-generation Financial Advisor, Bobby is proud to be part of a team that has over 125 years of combined experience and operates out of Des Moines, Iowa and Dallas-Fort Worth. His role on the team is to help our clients achieve peace of mind with their investments by creating and adopting a comprehensive financial plan. His goal is to understand each client’s unique set of circumstances and then design specific strategies to help achieve their goals. He is also involved in investment manager due diligence and has completed the UniFi by CAIA™ Fundamentals of Alternative Investments program which demonstrates competency in strategies such as private equity, private debt, and hedge funds.

His areas of focus include:
-Personalized planning that connects your wealth to your life goals
-Disciplined investment management designed to withstand market cycles with confidence
-Proactive guidance and communication so you always know where you stand
-Designing tax efficient income strategies that seek to provide predictable and sustainable retirement income

Originally from a small town outside of Des Moines, Iowa, Bobby now resides on the west side of Fort Worth with his wife Peyton and two daughters, Lottie and Lilah. He remains active in the Fort Worth community via membership of The Fort Worth Club, attending Christ Chapel Bible Church, and participation on the Greeting Committee for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Outside of the office you can find Bobby watching the Dallas Cowboys, playing golf or basketball, or most importantly doing "dad stuff" with his two young girls.

    Implement
Apply extensive research and analysis, as well as Morgan Stanley's full suite of resources, to identify and tailor solutions that can help you meet your individual needs.

We leverage our unique position and our affiliates to source innovative strategies from among the most knowledgeable investment minds in the business. Employing rigorous due diligence to identify, evaluate and select each alternative investment product on our platform, we work to identify the managers that we believe are highly qualified to help our clients meet their objectives. Your choices will depend on your goals, objectives and risk tolerance.

Alternative investments are often speculative and include a high degree of risk. Investors can lose all or a substantial amount of their investment. They may be highly illiquid, can engage in leverage, short-selling and other speculative practices that may increase volatility and the risk of loss, and may be subject to large investment minimums and initial lock-ups. They may involve complex tax structures, tax inefficient investing and delays in distributing important tax information. They may have higher fees and expenses that traditional investments, and such fees and expenses can lower the returns achieved by investors.

16Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan's investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan's flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan's investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state's own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state's tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
