His approach is unapologetically risk adverse, focusing on tactical asset allocation with a risk management overlay. He’s a risk manager, not a returns manager and his clients know it. Greg leverages a service model that provides complete transparency, so his clients feel involved in their success every step of the way. Simply put, communication is the cornerstone of his practice and the reason he feels he’s been able to foster deep relationships with his clients over the many years he’s worked with them. For Greg, the pride he receives from his client’s success is priceless and continues to motivate him.

At 22, while working in the restaurant industry, Greg discovered a book during a trip to the library that would change everything and kickstart a lifelong commitment toward helping others: How to become an investment professional by Dunn & Bradstreet. After reading the text cover to cover, he declared “that is what I am going to be.” It wasn’t long until Greg began cold calling industry professionals for job openings and 9 weeks later, on December 3rd, 1979, he secured his first opportunity on Wall Street at Wheat First Securities in Hickory, NC.

Outside of work, Greg spends a great deal of time giving back to his community. He’s currently the Past President of South Charlotte Partners, a group that advocates for a better South Charlotte, and a member of the Ballantyne Rotary. Greg firmly believes that giving back to the community, a community we extract so much from, is a must. Greg and his wife Gail currently reside on Lake Wylie and enjoy traveling to St. Croix and other destinations across the continental United States and abroad.

Client Service has been Denise's passion throughout her 30 years in the Financial Industry in the Tri-State area of New York and New Jersey. Across her various roles in the industry, which have included Portfolio Associate, Client Service Associate, Service Manager, and Compliance Officer, Denise has always found herself drawn back to the basics of client services resulting in the fulfillment of client's needs and request. Denise is the current Business Service Officer, and she covers the Charleston, Savannah, Hilton Head and St. Simons branches. She is focused on delivering the highest quality of service and satisfaction to all FAs, Support Professionals, and clients across the range of financial services, as well as being a part of the Carolina’s Management Team. She is a graduate of St John's University with an Associate Degree in Business and has fostered her education in the financial industry by obtaining the Series 7, 8, 63 and 65 licenses.

Denise and her husband, John, relocated to the Summerville, South Carolina area in 2020 and they love exploring all the wonders of the South. They also love spending time visiting their two adult children along with a large, extended family and friends. Denise is passionate about entertaining at home, visiting beaches in the area, as well trying new restaurants.
