Meet Atlas Group

About Me

Scott grew up in Canton, Ohio. A full scholarship gave him the opportunity to attend the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated with honors in economics, and then joined Bankers Trust to pursue his interest in investing. There, he rose in a year and a half to investment officer, managing $300 million in equities for corporate retirement funds.

Scott left Bankers Trust to attend Harvard Business School. After graduating with his MBA in 1978, he joined Salomon Brothers’ Investment Bank. He worked in both M&A and Corporate Finance, and then ran the Investment Bank’s Steel Group for ten years as a managing director. The 2002 Brendan Woods survey of industrial executives identified Scott as one of forty “top gun” domestic investment bankers.

When Scott decided to combine his interest in investing with his management relationships, he joined Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management business in 2002. Currently managing approximately $6.2 billion in client assets as of May 2017, Scott and his wealth management team strive to provide clients with comprehensive wealth planning, responsive client support and access to Morgan Stanley’s platforms. Scott’s dedication and excellence has been recognized by Barron’s, where he has been consistently ranked amongst the Top 100 Financial Advisors in 2009-2017. In 2017, he was ranked #17 in Barron’s Top 100 Financial Advisors, # 6 in Barron’s Top Advisors in New York State and ranked in Forbes' Top 400 Advisors.

Scott is a father to three twenty-somethings. He is an active trustee for the Boys’ Club of New York so he can help kids who need a break. Scott is also on the board of The Hill School in Pottstown, PA and Women’s Professional Doubles Squash Association and is a fanatic doubles squash player. He has completed two marathons and wants to improve his golf game.

About Me

Crystal is a Senior Vice President on the Atlas Group at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, where she focuses on creating customized asset allocation strategies for ultra-high net worth individuals and families.  As a Certified Financial Planner™, she also works closely with clients to develop comprehensive financial plans. 

 

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2003, Crystal was involved in the arts. She interned with leading organizations across the globe including Christie’s in both New York and Hong Kong, and the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, gaining a wide knowledge of both the art world from both the financial side and the philanthropic sector.  Crystal’s commitment and work has been recognized by leading industry publication REP. Magazine on its “Top 40 Wirehouse Advisors Under 40” list in 2013, 2014 and 2015, and on its “Top 50 Wirehouse Women” list in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, Crystal was named a MAKER at Morgan Stanley, recognizing her advocacy for women at the Firm. Most recently, she was ranked in Forbes Magazine’s list of America’s Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors in both 2017 and 2018. 

 

A California native, Crystal graduated cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University with a B.A. in Art History.  She currently lives in New York City and is an active member of the Columbia Alumni Arts League, The Legal Aid Society’s New Leadership Board and The Barnard College Professional and Leadership Development Committee.  In her free time, she enjoys going to art galleries and museums, trying new restaurants, running, and working out at Barry’s Bootcamp.  Crystal is both a board member of and competitor in the D10 (aka the Wall Street Decathlon), an executive athletic competition that raises money for pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering.

About Me

Robin began her career at J & W Seligman mutual funds and has spent the last 30 years on Wall Street with firms L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin, PaineWebber and Smith Barney.  She’s worked in various capacities ranging from administration to management. Her interest in finance, coupled with the enjoyment she derives from working with clients led her to join The Atlas Group.  She is a Certified Financial Planner™™ and her role includes client service, trading and managing the team.

Robin graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta, where she studied Speech Communications, Audiology and Speech Pathology.  She lives with her husband, Sol, in East Brunswick, NJ and they have two grown daughters. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, reading, photography and traveling.

About Me

Eric graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a major in Finance. While in school, he began his career in Wealth Management as an intern at Morgan Stanley. During his internship, he developed a reporting system to track clients’ historical performance and current asset allocations.  

In December 2009, Eric joined Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management as a Client Service Associate. He works directly with clients, and supports the team's analytics, capital markets and client administration functions.  

Eric grew up in Staten Island, New York. Outside of the office Eric enjoys traveling, working out, all sports, and spending time with his friends & family.

About Me

Luke graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Management and a minor in Accounting. He began his career in Wealth Management as an intern for Merrill Lynch in the Private Banking and Investment Group. Prior to joining the Atlas Group, Luke worked at Vanguard as a Brokerage Associate, assisting high net worth clients with brokerage transactions and client service needs, and at Allianz Global Investors as an Internal Investment Consultant. 

Luke joined Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in July 2018 and focuses on analytics, manager due diligence, client reports, and capital markets.

Luke is from a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, running, skiing, and playing or watching sports.
