Carry The Load
This is an event to honor and remember our nation's heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country This year, the team joined together and attended a relay in May.

Carry The Load started as a mission to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day. Today, it has grown to include more than just our military heroes and more than just the one holiday. Carry The Load works to bring all Americans together to participate in honoring our nation's heroes every day. The National Relay travels 20,000 miles during the month of May covering all continental 48 states, ending with the Dallas Memorial March.

Thank you to all our servicemen and women, veterans, their families, and all those who come after.

Food Bank of South Jersey
We had the pleasure of working beside volunteers from Morgan Stanley, in addition to the selfless full-time staff from the Food bank of South Jersey in June. Tim said, "There was a fantastic banner in the Warehouse where we were breaking down, sorting and repacking food donations that contained a quote from Albert Einstein. It read, 'Only a life lived for others is worth living' What an absolutely fantastic quote."

Financial Literacy
Tim and some other kind hearted folks from Morgan Stanley spent some time teaching financial literacy to school age children in middle and high school under the Women in Wealth program at the Firm. Hoping not only to teach a good understanding of financial basics but financial independence as well.
St. John's Soup Kitchen
Recently, members of the ArcPoint group travelled to Newark, NJ to spend the day volunteering at the Soup Kitchen at St. John’s Church, which was started by Msgr. John P. Hourihan (“Father John” as he was affectionally known). Fr. John dedicated his life to helping the poor, the disabled and those in need, with great love and energy, and with the support of many people. He was able to keep the important work done at St. John’s alive through the free-will offerings of “doers & donors” as he liked to call the hundreds of volunteers and benefactors who supported his work. The day was spend receiving donations, organizing and delivering them, along with the distribution of supplies, and cold and hot meals for all those in need that showed up.

About Me

Timothy Jayne is a Vice President and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. With over 20 years of experience, Tim holds his team to a high standard when it comes to their client service model and their ability to execute on that model for each client, effectively. For Tim, it’s all about meeting new clients and being a part of their story. It’s through these new partnerships that Tim begins the process of collaboration, so each client remains involved in their success every step of the way. Tim firmly believes financial planning comes first and it establishes the guidelines for him as the architect of the investment strategy. These strategies are centered around anticipated cash flow needs, individual investment objectives and tolerance for risk needs and preferences of each client.

A humanitarian at heart, Tim spent time in the Army as a young adult volunteering for as many philanthropic missions as he could, developing a love of service to others and helping those who might not be able to help themselves. A graduate of Drexel and Columbia University, Tim studied architectural engineering due to his fascination with complex problems and deriving intuitive, efficient solutions. The combination of these passions led him to finance where he would be able to apply his principles of service to others with a commitment to drive real life solutions for those who need it most. At a young age, Tim and his family were profoundly affected by the guidance of an advisor. It’s through this experience that Tim decided to be the change that he wanted to see in the world. He began in the Financial Advisor Training Program at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in 1998 and later became an Arbitrator with FINRA in hopes that he would be able to help address the quality of advisors who hold such an important role in the lives of so many people.

Outside of work, Tim devotes time to non-profit organizations such as Carry the Load, Wounded Warrior Project, Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Susan G Komen Foundation, March of Dimes Foundation, The American Red Cross, and Habitat for Humanity. Happily married, Tim and his family currently reside in Hopewell Township, NJ with their service dog Rosie.

About Margaret McGeehan

My summer after high school in 1982, I joined The Philadelphia Stock Exchange floor as a key-punch operator. I advanced as a Sales Assistant at various Brokerage firms. I have been with Morgan Stanley since 2010 when I began work as a Senior Client Services Associate. My varied career has left me with deep knowledge of industry and has impressed on me the importance of great customer service.

As a Senior Client Service Associate, I have the pleasure of interacting with many clients on a daily basis. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to represent Morgan Stanley as the first person to come in contact with our diverse and valued clients. I am generally the clients’ initial contact who opens and maintains accounts, resolves problems, handles money movement needs, and coordinates banking, among my many duties. My unique personality and excellent customer service abilities allow me to serve Morgan Stanley’s diverse clients in a way that makes every one of them feel like they are a part of the Morgan Stanley Family.

I live with my husband, John, in Holmesburg in Philadelphia. My son, Christopher lives in Oregon and I miss him. I have two wonderful grandchildren, Reagan and Fionn, as well as two stepchildren, Bridget and John. My identical twin sister, Kimmy, also works in financial services and lives in Delaware County. Family is one of the most important things in my life. My husband and I support Homes For Our Troops and Gary Sinise Fund (my Son-in-law is a double amputee from Afghanistan), The Spinal Cord Injury Network, and The Miami Project To Cure Paralysis. My passion for service and family are truly what fuels my love for the work I do.

I look forward to speaking with you soon!
