My Mission Statement
Helping You Plan for the Future with Greater Clarity and Confidence
My Story and Services
Throughout my career as a Financial Advisor, I’ve come to realize that clients want more than a monthly statement or even decent investment returns. They want to know that their Advisor is there for them to help them pursue their financial goals. They want to understand how their Advisor hopes to get them to their financial destination without undue risk. And above all, they want to feel valued and confident that their Advisor will always place their needs first and foremost when developing strategies on their behalf.
I place special emphasis on helping my clients understand the challenges they face and the potential solutions available to them. That means taking the time necessary to explain those solutions and why I’m recommending them. My clients know that they can continue to count on me to be there when they have questions, reservations or simply need reassurance that they have made the right decisions for themselves and their families.

Working with You
As a Certified Financial Planner™, I place major emphasis on helping my clients create a financial plan that serves as a roadmap to their most important goals. My process for working with clients is as follows:
Getting to Know You
Who are you as a person, not just an investor? What do you hope to achieve for yourself and your family? What do you value and what do you hope to pass on to your children and community? Our conversations will explore your aspirations, apprehensions and unique circumstances. Only when I have a thorough understanding of these will I proceed to the next phase of my process.
Creating Your Customized Plan
As a Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor, I have access to a sophisticated financial planning platform that can help you understand where you are in relation to your most important goals and what you must do to achieve those goals within your required timeframe. That involves working together to quantify the cost of your objectives, take inventory of your finances and determine whether you have a gap to fill. Based on our findings, we will develop strategies that include your investments but go far beyond to encompass other dimensions of your financial life.
Implementing Your Plan
After presenting your plan to you, I work closely with you to bring it to life. That may entail additional consultation with team members and other Morgan Stanley professionals who focus on estate planning, lending strategies and other disciplines relevant to your situation. And it will also involve the development of a customized investment strategy designed to meet your risk tolerance, as well as the goals we identified together.
Ongoing Evaluation
Are you proceeding as anticipated toward your financial destination or is an adjustment required? I monitor your performance on an ongoing basis and may alter our strategies to accommodate changing circumstances in your life or trends in the financial markets. When those markets turn turbulent, as they do from time to time, you can count on me to help you understand what’s going on and avoid emotional decisions that may impede your long-term progress.
Investing Your Assets
The plan we develop together is only as strong as the way in which it is implemented. Morgan Stanley’s Consulting Group researches hundreds of third-party investment management organizations annually for not only performance, but such criteria as:
• Risk
how much risk does a manager assume to generate return versus other alternatives available to you?
• Attribution
what percentage of return is directly attributable to the expertise of its manager?
• Style drift
are your managers really who they claim to be or did they fail to adhere to their purported style under certain market conditions?
• Organizational strength
do your managers depend on the talents of one individual or is there a cadre of experienced professionals managing by a proven process?
I work closely with Consulting Group professionals to further refine the selection process and recommend managers whom we believe are best qualified to help you meet your goals within your required timeframe and risk tolerance. Typically, your portfolio will consist of mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and if appropriate, alternative investments like hedge funds real estate and private equity.
Biography
I joined Morgan Stanley in 2021 after building my practice for 12 years at Huntington Financial. I take great pride in my ability to always be there for clients and place communications high on my list of priorities.
The clients I advise are very much like the neighbors I grew up with in Wauseon a small town not far from Toledo, Ohio. They include business owners, farmers, professors, retired professionals and working people, all of whom are concerned about planning for transitions in their lives. As a Certified Financial Planner™, I’ve always tried to help my clients understand the challenges they face and the potential solutions available to them. Finance can be complex, but it doesn’t have to be incomprehensible. I take the time necessary to explain the strategies I recommend to my clients and why I’m recommending them. They can continue to count on me to be there when they have questions, reservations or simply need reassurance that they have made the right decisions possible for themselves and their families.
I graduated from Ohio State’s Fisher School of Business with a degree in Business Administration. I reside in Columbus and when I’m not advising clients, I can often be found spending time with my family.
