Alan Dawson

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, I began a career in banking and lending that lasted over 20 years. In 2006, I moved to the Houston area to run a regional wealth management team of high net worth product specialists for UBS. For the last 10 years, I have been with Morgan Stanley as both a branch manager and financial advisor.

I currently manage approximately $350 million in wealth management assets for over 50 families (as of December 2023). My son, Ben, has joined my team and brings his prior experience as a CPA( currently non-practicing). Utilizing a planning based approach, We focus on providing long-term wealth management solutions to multiple generations of clients.

The fulfillment I get out of my role as a financial advisor stems from helping families design and execute a comprehensive plan that will help them to realize their financial goals.

My wife, Karen, and I live in the Sugar Land area and have 3 children and 5 wonderful grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf and traveling with my family.
