My Story and Services

Aaron is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley with a background in corporate finance and supply chain. Aaron's primary areas of focus are alternative investments and retirement and family wealth planning, with a focus on business owners. In 2024 he earned the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant designation, QPFC®, to help provide access to retirement planning for his clients businesses.

In Aaron's prior career he spent over 10 years in supply management and finance roles at Fortune 500 companies. Aaron transitioned from analyzing data to cut costs on capital projects, to analyzing portfolios to help his clients pursue their financial goals through appropriate risk management. While the industries are different, the necessary attention to detail and expectations of risk management are very similar.

Aaron feels there is no greater joy in life than helping others find success and watching people grow and advance. Back in Aaron's collegiate days, he participated in eye-opening medical missions through the mountains of Mexico. Aaron recognizes this experience as one that solidified his desire to help people grow and ultimately inspired him to enter his current role.

Outside of work, Aaron spends time with his wife, Stephanie, and their 4 children: Benjamin, Camden, Stella and George. Their favorite family memories are made on their visits to the Destin, FL area. Aaron's favorite activities include traveling, trap shooting and riding motorcycles. He one day hopes to visit every country on the MotoGP race schedule.

My Process

We live in a world of information overload and seemingly endless options. It’s easy to become overwhelmed. What is best for you? What is best for your loved ones? As you financial advisor, I guide you through these questions, among many others, to offer and apply the most appropriate solutions for your specific needs.

Choosing the right financial advisor and the right firm takes time. These decisions are built on knowledge, needs and trust. The choice you make today will likely impact your financial decisions for years to come. Time is one asset we cannot get back, so I take the time up front to help ensure you are fully aware of the options accessible to you that align with your personal risk tolerance and wealth planning needs.

    1. Introductory Meeting
Before any commitments can be explored each party must establish trust and a solid understanding of each others needs and the services offered. In the introductory meeting, I am here to simply learn more about you. I also answer all of your initial questions about me.
    Icon Image
    2. Discovery Meeting
After learning what’s most important to you, I can more effectively share the services we offer that apply directly to your situation and meet your specific needs. After the meeting, I send you a link to create a Morgan Stanley Online login. This is used to safely upload and securely share your personal financial documents into our Digital Vault, which I utilize to build your plan.

    3. Financial Plan Delivery
Financial plan presentations map out essential factors that play into your financial success: areas such as employee and employer contributions, liquidity events and insurance coverage. I examine all relevant financial information to provide a comprehensive asset allocation analysis. This ensures a comprehensive financial plan.

    5. Decision & Implementation
Once the plan has been refined we discuss the next steps to implement the plan. The new client onboarding process includes areas such as: timing and transition of assets, setting up automatic withdrawals, linking outside bank accounts, etc. I will make the transition to becoming a client simple and smooth.
    Icon Image
    5. Consistent Connection
I believe in ease of access, so I operate with an ongoing open door policy when it comes to communication. As for structured monitoring, we will meet based on a schedule determined in our Decision & Next Steps Meeting, often quarterly or semi-annual touchpoints. I want to ensure I'm up to date on your latest life changes, and am positioning your portfolio accordingly.
    Icon Image
    6. Financial Plan Monitoring
I utilize the Portfolio Risk Platform (PRP), which is a state-of-the-art wealth management platform that enables me to identify and better understand risks and business opportunities across my clients’ and prospects' portfolios. Once your financial plan is adopted, I make it accessible within your Morgan Stanley Online (MSO) account. This allows you to know your probability for success at all times. If anything changes, you’re able to email me directly through MSO at anytime.

Business Owner Advisory

You understand risk within your niche because you deal with it daily. From expanding your operations to penetrating new markets, you take risks when necessary and mitigate them whenever possible. But what about the process of transferring ownership? What about all the investment options and tax considerations for impending funds from the sale of your business? Have you taken the appropriate steps to specify and fulfill your vision for your business when it's time to retire?
I understand the risks that business owners face when facing a liquidity event. I also understand that those risks involve not only the future of your business but the financial well-being of you and your family. My comprehensive planning process can help you identify your most pressing challenges and address them with customized strategies that consider both your personal financial objectives and business ambitions. Moreover, I have helped numerous business owners:

• Manage cash flow more effectively to improve cash flow for day-to-day expenses without invading capital earmarked for growth
• Establish cost-effective 401(k) or other retirement plans to help you and your employees save for retirement
• Formulate viable succession strategies

Planning Your Exit: Whether you're contemplating transferring your business interest to family members, liquidating assets or selling your shares to current management or an outside party, you have decisions to make and complex issues to address. Common considerations include:

• What do you really want for yourself, your family members, your employees and the business itself?
• Which transaction structures are relevant to your specific circumstances and goals?
• What are the tax implications of the various alternatives available to you?
• How much is your business truly worth and what can you do to increase its transaction value and liquidity?
• How much will you require from the sale of your business to fulfill the financial aspirations of you and your family

Allow me to assist in determining how much you will need from a sale to support your desired lifestyle. I have helped numerous business owners analyze their prospects for selling their companies at favorable terms. I offer avenues to market your business and solicit competitive offers from potential investors. I have worked with several successful business owners and their attorneys, accountants, and other advisors to integrate their succession plan with their overall finances and helped them understand the many alternatives available to them.
