About Howard Fishkind
Howard is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Family Wealth Advisor, and Executive Director. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2008 from Merrill Lynch and has over 35 years of financial services industry experience. Howard works with a range of clients including wealthy individuals and their immediate family members, corporate executives, and business owners. He often works closely with both estate attorneys as well as CPAs helping to address his client needs.
Howard’s role is to help simplify the complexities that come with financial planning and investments, as he helps his clients attain confidence in their financial position so they may have more time for what is most important to them and their families, as well as help achieve their unique definition of success and fulfillment. He prides himself in developing and maintaining a personal connection not just with his clients but with their spouses and children which enables him to assist not just today but in the future as their situations may change.
Howard resides in Short Hills, NJ with his wife Marcia, three children, seven cats, and one dog. His eldest daughter is currently attending Colorado State Veterinary School, while his son attends Boston University and his twin sister attends Penn State University. When not working, Howard is most likely to be found out on the water enjoying his boat during the summer months or helping his wife with animal rescue. Over the years, his family has fostered well over 200 cats and kittens and assisted in finding “furever homes” for each while keeping a few along the way and have also rescued five Pitbull dogs.
Howard earned a BBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with a concentration in Finance. He has been named on the Forbes list of Best in State Wealth Advisors for the past six years, as well as being a member of the Morgan Stanley Master’s Club from 2019-2025.
