About Gabriela Teran
Gabriela Teran is a Managing Director and Branch Manager of the 590 Madison Wealth Management Office in New York. Gaby joined Morgan Stanley in April of 2016 as the Head of International Wealth Management Business Development focused on strengthening IWM product, client solutions, sales development, and content delivery.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Gaby was the Head of the New York Wealth Management Office covering Latin America for Credit Suisse. She was responsible for building out the office and supporting Financial Advisors in bringing clients to the firm. In addition, she was responsible for partnering with the key areas of the firm to develop the platform for the UHNW and HNW segments in Latin America from 2009- 2016.
Gaby began her career at Merrill Lynch where she spent fourteen years and held various leadership positions including Branch Manager, Market Leader, Regional Sales Manager and Head of Training. She was based in New York, Miami and Venezuela during her career with Merrill Lynch.
Gaby received a degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and holds the Investment Strategist Certificate from the Wharton Business School. In 2013, she was recognized by Poder Hispanic publication, “Latinos Going Places, 20 under 40” and was most recently named to the 2019 MAKERS at Morgan Stanley. She serves on the Board of the American Nicaraguan Foundation and the University of Michigan Alumni Association.
She is a native of Nicaragua and lives in New York City with her husband and two sons.
