    Meet 10 Goal Wealth Management Group

    About Me

    Bob Parr is an Director within the Global Sports and Entertainment Division and also a Private Wealth Advisor in Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management Division. In 2016 Bob founded the 10 Goal Wealth Management Group. He together with his three partners provide investment solutions, as well as  financial planning to celebrities, high-net-worth investors, and families.  As a Global Sports and Entertainment Director, Bob has extensive experience with the unique needs of both celebrities and professional athletes that has set his practice apart from the typical financial advisory relationship.  As part of his practice, Bob oversees and executes cash management, fixed-income, active and passive equity solutions, tactical solutions, and alternative investment strategies.

     He earned his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1996 and added the Family Wealth Director designation in 2008. A graduate of James Madison University, he has made numerous appearances on MSNBC, Bloomberg, and Ask Washington. Bob serves on the board of directors of the Rickie Fowler Foundation and the Noah’s Arc Foundation. 

     Bob is not always about business as his move to Virginia has allowed him to get back to his country upbringing.  Raised on a farm in Queenstown Maryland, Bob has now relocated to a small farm in Middleburg Virginia where he and his wife Cristina compete on their polo ponies every weekend. Bob’s family shares his business passion as his oldest son Brandon is a member of 10 Goal, his daughter Courtney is working in investment banking in New York, his son Dylan is a business major at University of South Carolina, and even his youngest son Isaac charges Bob for mucking out horse stalls.

    About Me

    Scott is a founding partner of 10 Goal Wealth Management Group and is a Vice President at Morgan Stanley.  Prior to joining 10 Goal, Scott directed a solo practice managing over 100 million in assets.  Starting his career at Merrill Lynch in 2005, Scott moved his practice over to then Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley) in 2008 and has served a wide range of clients from families to business owners to professional athletes.  He provides investment solutions and customized financial plans to families and business owners.  Scott has extensive experience working with business owners, focusing on providing counsel on implementing comprehensive and complex executive benefits packages, retirement plans for their workforce and cash management strategies. 

    While his retail financial services practice started in 2005, Scott brings a  business background to the 10 Goal team.  Previously, Scott was a Vice President of KemperSports Management, one of the largest golf course development and management companies in the nation.  During his tenure with KemperSports, Scott was responsible for golf course acquisitions, third party management engagements and company owned development projects.  Locally, one of his projects was Whiskey Creek Golf Course near Frederick, MD and the first world-wide golf course design project for Ernie Els.  From 2003 -2005, Scott was the Executive Director of the Booz Allen Classic, a PGA TOUR event hosted in Potomac, MD.  He lead the transition of the tournament from the then longest tenured title sponsor in PGA TOUR history, Kemper Insurance and a for profit event, to a non-profit focus with the title sponsor Booz Allen Hamilton.  After a successful 12 year career with KemperSports delivering customized solutions to meet the needs of golf course owners (both private sector and municipal owners), the PGA TOUR, the players and their entourage and the titans of the Washington business community, Scott believed his skillset would transition well over to a wealth management practice delivering customized financial solutions to families and businesses to meet and address their financial goals.

    A graduate of Guilford College, Scott was a 4-year varsity baseball player and still can’t believe all 26 teams at the time missed him in the June draft.  Scott, his wife Cindy and their 3 children live in Gainesville, VA.  Coaching his kid’s sports teams has hurt his golf handicap, but he can still beat Bob.  He is an active member of Park Valley Church and has served on the Boards of Evergreen Country Club and Azalea Charities.

    About Me

    Brandon is the newest member of the team having just graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Finance. After interning for Bob for two summers in his college years, he knew that Morgan Stanley and the 10 Goal Wealth Management Team was the right place for him after graduation. 

    Growing up in Potomac, MD, Brandon played high level soccer all across the country which led to him eventually playing at the Division 1 level in college. The dedication to his craft and willingness to put in the extra effort during his playing years is something that he looks forward to transferring into his new role as a Financial Advisor with the team.
